Rewards Apprenticeship Academy We are passionate about the development of young people. Rewards has provided Apprenticeship training to thousands of school leavers and adults over the past ten years. By working closely with employers across the region, we have helped people take their first steps in to the world of work and assured their future by building essential and sustainable skills that will benefit them throughout their careers. To supplement our Apprenticeship training we have introduced an Apprenticeship Academy. The Academy is designed with junior employees in mind in order to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to flourish within a Business Administration or Customer Service setting. The Academy benefits the employer by providing the perfect combination of industry training and best practice, whilst the apprentice benefits from up-front training leading to an apprenticeship qualification and builds confidence and skills with their employer throughout the process.

Apprenticeship Recruitment

The Academy

Apprentices attend the Academy for 2 days per week, for the initial 8 weeks of employment before they are fully integrated into the workplace. In addition, each apprentice is allocated a personal trainer who will visit the apprentice in their workplace every 2 to 4 weeks once they have graduated from the Academy and are working full-time. Full funding is available to those aged 16-18 and as the Academy is a rolling programme it can welcome new apprentices at any time during the year!

If you are interested in taking on a new apprentice but do not have the time to undergo the full recruitment process yourself then why not try our free service? Rewards will screen and short-list potential applicants, based upon your specifications and then invite you to interview selected applicants. We will assist with co-ordinating interviews and once you have selected a suitable apprentice we will train the individual through our Academy programme; aiding a smooth transition into your company. If you choose the non-Academy route then a small contribution will be required to use our Recuitment service. Here’s what a recent employer had to say about our Academy and recruitment service: “ ...I recently recruited an apprentice, with the help of the Rewards Academy programme. I have no regrets as she has exceeded all my expectations and I see a long-term future for her within our company... I was delighted that Rewards selected an apprentice that fits perfectly within our organisation and provide her with quality training. I would have no hesitation in using Rewards to recruit and train further apprentices in the future.” Mike Oliver, Principal, Mike Oliver Associates
