The desire to create and tell a story has always been in me. In terms of projects, I am a reliable individual and team player. I value openmindedness and collaboration. I am self-motivated, a fast-learner and a diligentworker.

Five years in Architecture school has taught me that design is not just a process of mere creating, rather it involvespurposeandempathy.

RETIREMENT HOME FOR THE ELDERLY

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN 3 | INDIVIDUAL

The proposed retirement resort for the elderly located in the Municipality of Sablayan, Mindoro is designed to accommodate the rise of retirees in the Philippines.

The form concept is inspired by the word "balay" spelled in the traditional "hanunuo script" from Mindoro. The bungalow accommodation took points from vernacular architecture with passive ventilationinmind.

This 5 storey residential commercial building project is focused on creating construction drawings in steel and concrete masonry . The mid-risebuildingcombinesbothresidentialandcommercialuses.

BALANI: K-12 SCHOOL

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN 6 | INDIVIDUAL

Situated in Pampanga, the overall design of the school incorporates tropical design, through elements such as passive cooling and natural lighting. The facade features an aluminum mesh, which provides an opportunity for a green wall in the future. It also features a multipurpose entrance/ exit lane wherein commercial stalls could sell during schoolevents.

The spaces are clustered into three areas:

south - primary levels

northsecondary and upper-secondary levels center - common areas

Balani is a Tagalog word which translates to “magnet”. Applying this as space concept, the school promotes an atmosphere of learning through design that encourages interactions.

PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT OF MANDALUYONG’S PASIG RIVER PROMENADE

URBAN DESIGN STUDIO THESIS | COLLABORATION

This group research aims to show how the concepts of creative placemaking and the perception of the community can be applied to improve the overall urban setting of Mandaluyong’sPasigRiverPromenade.

HUMABI: LAS PINAS COMMUNITY MIXED-USE HUB

ARCHITECTURAL THESIS | INDIVIDUAL

The proposal is a community mixed-use hub situated in Las Piñas City, Philippines; a location where public spaces are not accessible for majority of its residents. The communitymixed-usehubisablendofacommunitycenter,publicpark,andsportsand recreationalareas.

The overall design concept for the project is “Weaving Community Ties” in which the hub will serve as a facilitating ground for interweaving social connections and become a centralized place for the community of Las Piñas to build and strengthen community ties.

ARCHITECTURAL INTERNSHIP | COLLABORATION

Arté Pilipinas is a community festival showcasing the richness of arts and culture of the Philippines in the United Arab Emirates. The Philippine Pavilion features a parametric design using bamboo as building material. It also highlights a masterplan mimicking the serenity onegetsfromabambooforestthroughitsorganiclandscaping.
