For the design of the honey pot hideaway, the designer pulled inspiration from the children's book “Winnie the Pooh”. By using colors, shapes, and textures from the Illustrations from the original book to create a sense of community and familiarity. Using different attributes from different characters in the design will help the children feel connected and less alone in their journeys. With the use of sensory objects in the design to allow more than just visual stimulation for those in the space. When approaching the space, the designer created a separation for the different age groups so they can remain on different sides of the building and safe in the center.
