As part of the 14th National Administrator’s Congress, organized by the Private Secondary School Administrators (PRISSAAP), thirty-three administrators from different schools in the Philippines visited Elizabeth Seton School (ESS) last August 27, 2010 with the theme “On the Threshold of a New Horizon: Responding to the New Challenges in
Educational Leadership.” The visit intends to showcase ESS and its best practices to the different administrators. ESS Earns SSS Top Employer Award

Being a dedicated Social Security System (SSS) Employer, Elizabeth Seton School (ESS) was recognized as an SSS Top Employer awardee on August 8, 2010 at the SSS Center in Quezon City. SSS annually gives awards to members who have successfully accomplished all requirements, which are indicated in the program’s website. Western Union, Clark Corporation, and Maynilad are just few of the companies that have been competent enough to receive the honor of being an SSS Top Employer awardee. According to Mr. Ferdinand Alido, head of the ESS Finance Unit, this is ESS’ first garnered spot in the field of being one of SSS’ top employers. ESS Staff Conducts Seminars on UBD

As publicized by the Revised Secondary Curriculum (RSEC), come this school year 2010-2011, all first year students should be utilizing the Understanding by Design or UbD framework. As a result of this, educational institutions have been organizing seminars for their staff to familiarize themselves with the said framework. Some selected members of the ESS faculty were invited to carry out seminars regarding UBD in two different events. Regional Conference On July 21-23, 2010 in Calamba City, Laguna, administrators of basic education from all over the CALABARZON area gathered at the Monte Vista Resort for the Regional Conference on New Trends, Issues and Essentials in Secondary Private Education. On the last day of the conference, July 23, 2010 (Thursday), the academic directress of our school, Mrs. Teresita F.
