Anthony Lonnell Westbrook

His Story ANTHONY LONNELL WESTBROOK was born on May 21, 2000 to Alvin and Shelia Westbrook. He was a handsome baby boy, whose energetic spirit brought happiness to anyone in his presence.

Anthony accepted Christ at an early age at New Hope Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and he would often recite bible scriptures to friends and family in their greatest time of need. He later joined New Life Memphis and he was a faithful member.

Anthony graduated from Center Hill High School in 2018, where he made lifelong friendships. He developed his passion for mechanical engineering in high school.

Anthony attended Northwest Community College and graduated with his associate degree in General Automative.

Anthony was an incredible young man with a joyful personality, who was loved by everyone. He could dance, sing, and rap. And yes, he was a jokester and if you knew him, you were probably part of his many jokes. He could do any and everything he put his mind to - Anthony was blessed with amazing talents.

On October 31, 2020, Anthony was called home to be with The Lord in His Heavenly Kingdom.

Anthony leaves to cherish his memories to his loving parents: Shelia and Alvin Westbrook; his five siblings, Erica Sherley, Kiannah Alexander, Alvin Westbrook, Kylan Westbrook, Aiden Westbrook; niece, Khari Murden; five aunts, Angie Middlebrook, Adrianne Christopher, Greta Sears, LaTosha Winters, and Mary Ann Johnson; three uncles: James Crutchfield, Micheal Westbrook, and Anthony Westbrook, and a host of cousins and friends.

My Baby You Will Always Be My baby you will always be No matter where you are.

You’re like a little part of me, Whether near or far.

I counted all your tiny toes When you were fresh and new.

Words can’t express how proud I was that I’d been given you.

Your tiny little newborn face was new to me it was like we met before.

And so each day grew and grew as I looked proudly on until one day, I looked and saw your baby days were gone.

But once my baby, you will stay that way for all my days. My baby you will always be.

Memory of a Special Brother Today is full of memories of a brother laid to rest and every single one of them is filled with happiness.

For you were someone special always such a joy to know and there was so much pain it was time to let you go.
