Foster Care Resource Worker One (1) Permanent Full-Time Position
Under the direction of the Special Programs Supervisor the Foster Care Resource Worker will perform a full range of foster care activities for Awasis Agency of Northern Manitoba; this includes recruitment, home assessments, orientation, training, foster home licensing, places of safety and support services to foster homes and foster parents. The Foster Care Resource Worker provides temporary and long term placements for children as directed by the Child and Family Services Act and the Program Standards. The Foster Care Resource Worker will also ensure that services are being delivered in accordance with the policies, procedures and specific directives of Awasis Agency.
