One Avenue Statement At One Avenue, we care deeply about our clients, the community of people around them and other guests and visitors associated with them. Furthermore, we place equally high value on our family of employees at One Avenue and therefore the safety, health and wellbeing of everybody that we work closely with is incredibly important to us.

The recent catastrophic events caused by the Covid-19 pandemic has deeply saddened us.

However, despite these challenging times, we hope everyone is keeping safe and well as we look to move forward.

Whilst Covid-19 continues to throw challenges at all of us from a number of angles, please be rest assured that One Avenue are here to support you and your business - now more than ever. In the wake of such a pandemic that has had calamitous effects on the world, we understand and empathise with how you may be feeling right now and what you are currently faced with - fear. Fear around the performance of your business, fear for the safety and wellbeing of your teams and fear of what the future may hold. We are certain that you are not alone in having such thoughts and feelings. Nonetheless, One Avenue are here to provide you with the reassurance that we have everything covered.

Over the passing weeks, we have continued to closely monitor the intricacies of the pandemic and are fully committed to taking all of the necessary steps and precautions to minimise the impact of the virus when using the buildings and their facilities.

Our key focus is to provide and maintain clean, fully sanitised and safe premises so that your team can get back down to business quickly with no concerns around these areas.

We have therefore devised the following Operational Health and Safety Standards, with the guidance of the British Standards Institution (BSI), by implementing Ergonomic Military Precision protocols, in order to provide you with the peace of mind that you are in safe hands with One Avenue.

Furthermore, this document will be continuously reviewed and updated as further information is received from the government and other regulatory bodies and is therefore subject to change as required.

Individual Responsibilities

One Avenue are fully committed to implementing strict measures and protocols to ensure the safety and harmony of all clients and employees.

In order to achieve such harmony, we also rely in part on each and every individual to take responsibility in ensuring that they adhere to all health and safety practices put in place, particularly in the communal areas. Furthermore, we ask that all companies residing in the building take accountability for ensuring that their own staff are fully aware of such protocols and that they are being followed.

You should wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. In addition, you should always wash your hands immediately after one of the following:

➳ Before and after eating food In the eventuality where One Avenue may find people disregarding the protocols set out, this will be addressed accordingly.

Handwashing Handwashing is the number one tip for preventing the spread of Covid-19 (as well as a multitude of other illnesses). Prior to this pandemic, it would seem like the most basic of actions that people carry out automatically, multiple times a day, every day with little thought, however the general consensus seems that all along, we may not have been washing our hands thoroughly enough.

‘Rinse and shake’

In order to ensure your handwashing regime is effective, follow these simple steps:

➳ Wet: Put both your hands under clean, running water

➳ Lather: Apply a generous amount of soap to the inside and back of your hands as well as your fingertips. Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds (TIP: sing ‘Happy Birthday!’) and don’t forget to wash under jewellery and fingernails (Your fingertips are especially important as people often put their fingers on their face, nose and eyes - this is how the virus spreads)

➳ Scrub: Rub both hands together and move your fingertips around both hands. You do not need a scrub brush

➳ Rinse: Return both hands to the running water and gently wash away the soap Six seconds no soap

Communal Areas Communal areas in the building will still be in use by multiple people. It is imperative that everyone using the communal spaces ensure they are respectful of other people around them by keeping a safe distance from others, following the physical distancing measures put in place and to remain patient and calm if you are required to wait for another person to finish using a certain facility or area that you are waiting to use.

We will have both our Centre Team and in-house cleaners consistently ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of all of the building areas throughout the day, however in order to assist with this further, we also ask you to be respectful, to clear up after yourselves and leave the space as you would wish to find it.

Communal spaces include but are not limited to; reception areas, kitchens, toilets, meeting and boardrooms, corridors, seating areas, lifts, etc.

We have listed below four simple guidelines that will assist us in ensuring communal areas are consistently safe and clean:

Crockery: Put all used crockery straight into the dishwasher after use (including bringing from your office when finished with it, to avoid our team having to go into your offices during the day unnecessarily)

Wipe Surfaces: Wipe all surfaces after use (products to do so will be readily available)

Distance: Keep a safe distance from others. If there is not space to leave a 2-metre distance between yourself and others in the communal area, please wait until someone leaves before entering

Signage and Directions: Please ensure to follow directions as per all signage displayed throughout the Centre, for your safety and others

The below image indicates the real impact that a little pre-planning with timing, along with abiding by physical distancing measures can have on helping to combat the spread of Covid-19, whilst still enjoying the benefits of your office environment.

Self-Isolation Another important step in reducing the spread of Covid-19 is self-isolation. It is your individual responsibility to self-isolate if you believe you may have the virus or might have been exposed to anyone that has/ may have the virus (and are therefore showing any of the symptoms). If you start to feel unwell, you will be required to self-isolate for 7 consecutive days at home. Only after 7 days have passed and you are symptom-free should you re-enter the workplace.

Furthermore, should you share your household with anybody else, from the day in which you start to show symptoms, they will also be required to self-isolate for 14 consecutive days, regardless of if they feel ill or not.

Physical distancing using space 3:00PM

If during the period of precautionary 14 days self-isolation, that person then starts to show symptoms, they must self-isolate for a further 7 days from that day and then only leave their household thereafter if fully recovered.

The below chart provides a visual summary from Public Health England regarding self-isolating if someone else in your household gets sick:

We ask that clients notify the One Avenue team confidentially if and when they have a suspected case of Covid-19 within their team, to ensure we carry out our due-diligence of ensuring such a case does not spread.

In such an instance, we will have the office in question deep cleaned as well as investigate any movements the individual made and if there are therefore any other communal areas used that need to be deep cleaned.

Moreover, we will need to identify whether anybody else will need to be notified of such an occurrence, in case they had been in recent contact with him/her. If they have been in contact with him/her, we recommend that they also self-isolate, regardless of if they are experiencing symptoms or not.

Cleaning

Our utmost priority during the pandemic has been that we continue to maintain the cleanliness and sanitisation of our buildings, so that clients can continue to feel safe whilst using the facilities.

Our processes around cleanliness as well as ensuring high levels of sanitisation throughout all areas of the building post-lockdown and as the buildings start to become busier again, remains our top priority.

In order to maintain a level of cleanliness throughout the buildings during lockdown, our Centre Teams and in-house cleaners have continued to visit each site throughout each week to empty bins, ensure offices are clear of crockery and cutlery, replenish stock levels in the kitchens and toilets and wipe down surfaces so that they are fully sanitised.

We have also ensured that all communal areas are continually cleaned and dusted, including door handles and push panels, lift buttons and staircase rails.

We are also in the process of carrying out a further deep clean of every communal area, to give you the reassurance that you will be working in a fully sanitised and safe environment.

Furthermore, our cleaners have now been brought fully in-house so as to ensure that they go through the specialist training and follow our stringent guidelines.

Standards of Cleaning We have identified the following three standards of cleaning for different surfaces and areas, as follows:

Physically Clean The area or surface is free from apparent dust and dirt, as when wiped by hand. This was the standard clean within the industry along with a Chemically Clean standard. We have now considerably enhanced our cleaning protocols and a Physically/Chemically Clean standard is no longer our standard.

Chemically Clean This was the previous standard of agent used and has since been replaced with a superior cleaning agent (Bacteriologically Clean).

Bacteriologically Clean This standard means that surfaces should be cleaned so as to be free from any harmful bacteria that may cause disease or infection. This is referred to as ‘clinical’ standard and is the cleanliness level of most hospitals.

The cleans (either ‘Deep’ or ‘Enhanced’ see Page 15) that we will be carrying out will be to a Bacteriologically Clean standard as aided by the guidance of the BSI. This will be achieved by thoroughly spraying, wiping and dusting all areas using viricidal efficacy products that are proven to kill 99.99% of enveloped viruses (such as Covid-19) and non-enveloped viruses within minutes of contact.

Other Areas The deep clean of each building will be carried out by our domestic team who will use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times, to ensure the safety of all.

Once all deep cleans of communal areas have been carried out, the frequency of cleaning that takes place usually throughout each day and evening will be increased in all public spaces, with particular emphasis on frequent contact surfaces such as door handles, lift buttons, stairwell railings, kitchen cupboards, toilets, food and drink preparation areas within the kitchen, boardrooms and shared seating areas, etc.

We will carry out a consultation with you at your convenience, so that your deep clean can be booked in at a time that suits you. Should you require any of the enhanced clean options, we will speak with you regarding the level of cleaning and items that are to be done in your office and give you an approximation as to how many hours we will envisage this to take to complete. Once you are happy with this, the cost will simply be added to your next ad-hoc invoice.

Safety Procedures

We will be implementing the procedures noted below immediately on an on-going basis to ensure the safety of all individuals in the building.

Building Maintenance Throughout the lockdown period, the on-going maintenance of each building is also of paramount importance to us, to ensure that when the building is back to being at full capacity, all plant and M&E systems continue to run reliably as usual.

Our appointed M&E Engineers have continued to be present at each building throughout each week during the lockdown to ensure that all plant is running as it should and to carry out all usual checks as scheduled in our Planned Maintenance Tracker, whilst updating our usual logs and records.

Specifically, our Engineers are carrying out the following activities on a weekly basis:

➳ Draining, flushing and refilling of the cooling tower water so as to ensure water is not stagnant (where applicable)

➳ Carrying out cooling tower water tests to check for bacteria levels (‘dip slide’ test) and logging results

➳ External Water Hygiene and Treatment company to carry out independent dip slide tests and send us results

➳ Running air-conditioning units on a low setting for a period of time (different floors on a schedule) across the building to assess it is running without issue, but without being wasteful of energy/ electricity and leaving the entire building running all of the time

➳ Flushing and running of water outlets and logging activity

➳ Carrying out temperature tests of hot and cold water supply to building from water outlets and logging results (Legionella prevention)

➳ Inspection and testing of fire alarm ➳ General plant checks

With regards to air-conditioning more specifically, all of our air conditioning units have been sanitised and serviced and we have increased the frequency of these services going forward. All services will be done out of hours to comply with our physical distancing measures.

In addition, the Centre Team have also carried out continual building checks. If they notice anything visually untoward, they will notify our Engineer immediately who will attend site straight away (including out of hours) to investigate and/or resolve any issues.

Furthermore, we have selected on-site personnel to undergo advanced Health & Safety courses, in order to obtain their IOSH, COSHH and NEBOSH qualifications.

This ensures they are fully equipped with the knowledge and understanding of what our obligations are from a health and safety perspective, in order to keep everybody safe.

Finally, the business will also be applying for accreditation meeting ISO standards. We are committed to making these investments to once again ensure the safest possible environment for you and your teams.

ISO Accreditation The latest version of ISO Quality Management Systems ‘9001:2015’ specifies requirements for when an organisation demonstrates its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. It aims to enhance customer satisfaction through effective application of the system, including processes for improvement and the assurance of conformity to the requirements.

Isolation Zones

Hand Sanitisation

In each building, ‘isolation zones’ will be identified and used under such circumstances whereby an individual in the building may be feeling unwell and showing potential symptoms of the virus. Said individual will be offered refuge in the isolation zone for that building until arrangements have been made for them to return home safely.

Hand sanitiser will be placed at key client areas such as in reception and lounges, Business Support office, boardrooms, meeting rooms and chat rooms, for you to use as and when you need to sanitise your hands.

After the individual has departed the isolation zone, this area will be fully deep cleaned (as well as any other areas in which they may have been exposed to since showing symptoms) before this area can be used for any other suspected case.

Post and Parcels

This will be closely monitored and managed by the Centre Team.

We will also continue to stock each toilet and kitchen with hand soap and hand moisturiser.

The team will continue to accept, sort and deliver post on your behalf and deliver directly to your office.

However, instead of handing those items to individuals personally across the office, we will agree with you one ‘drop off’ location within your office that is suitable for you, for such items. Perhaps encourage your teams not to order personal items to the office temporarily so as to minimise contact for this.

Food and Drinks In order for you and your team to avoid having to use shared communal space, we are happy to set up a food and refreshments area in your office, including facilities such as a microwave to heat up food and a kettle to make hot drinks. The Centre Team will ensure this area is set up for use each day, replenished throughout the day if needed and cleared at the end of the day. It is also recommended to encourage your staff to bring their own prepared meals from home.

Not only will this give them peace of mind that the food they are about to eat is safe, it will also reduce the amount of footfall coming in and out of the building during lunch times. We also suggest that staff bring in their own refillable water bottles and flasks for making their own beverages.

Extended Hours The hours of which the team are on site is being extended to 7am-7pm Monday to Friday, in order to help facilitate any changes to hours and rotas that you may wish to implement within your teams.

Furthermore, should you require assistance outside of these hours (including weekends), we will gladly accommodate to suit you.

If you are looking to change your working hours and need onsite support during this time, then please do let your Centre Manager know.

Other Requests In addition, if you would like food delivered to your office, the team can organise this on your behalf and bring it to you. If you would like to do this, the team will wear protective gloves at all times.

Finally, if you would prefer to use disposable cups, plates, knives and forks, this can be arranged for you.

Whilst we love the face-to-face interactions with all of our clients, in the short-term, if you require any assistance from the Centre Team, we encourage you to call them either at reception or any of the team’s direct dials (or by email if it is not an urgent request), rather than in person. The team will be just as responsive and instead, will come to you rather than you having to go to them.

Furthermore, we will look to allocate you one Dedicated Staff Member (DSM) who will be your one point of contact to deal with any request you may have.

Protocols in Specific Areas of the Building We have devised the following regimes with regards to specific areas of the building, as follows:

RECEPTION AND LOUNGES

BUSINESS SUPPORT OFFICE

➳ Entrance doors will be propped open in hours

➳ Team will ensure desks are at least 2 metres away

where possible, to avoid it having to be touched

➳ Where doors cannot be propped open, handles will be cleaned every 60 minutes where possible

➳ Where a member of our team operates this area, a protective screen will be in place to shield you from interactions being too close

➳ Guest sign-in will be conducted by the receptionist so as to limit multiple people touching equipment

➳ Other specific guest procedures will be put into place (see Section 7)

➳ Surfaces in this area will be wiped down every 60 minutes where possible

➳ Receptionist will wear gloves, particularly when handling parcels and other items coming in from outside locations

➳ Hand sanitiser will be available in this area and individuals must use this when they both enter and leave the building

➳ Receptionist will sanitise hands before and after their allotted time on reception

➳ All shared magazines and other books will be temporarily removed so as not handled by multiple people

from where clients stand in the office and will politely advise clients as to the safest place to stand/ sit within the office whilst liaising with the team

➳ As mentioned above, in the short-term we recommend clients call the Centre Team and we can come to you to assist you or bring you whatever you need

CORRIDORS

➳ Team will implement physical distancing measures within corridors so as to avoid too much close interaction with other individuals in the building (see Section 5)

➳ All doors with handles and push panels leading in and out of corridors will be wiped down every 60 minutes where possible across the building

KITCHENS

➳ Team will implement physical distancing measures within kitchen areas so as to avoid over-crowding (see Section 5)

➳ Fridge handles/ openings will be wiped down every 60 minutes where possible

➳ Milk supply in fridges will be wiped down every 60 minutes where possible

➳ Kitchen cupboard handles will be wiped down every 60 minutes

➳ Remote control for each kitchen TV will be wiped down every 60 minutes where possible

Managing Risks

As it is our top priority to ensure the workplace is safe for all of our clients, in addition to the immediate Safety Procedures that we will be implementing in each of our buildings as noted in Section 3, over the coming weeks we have been undertaking Covid-19 specific risk assessments.

These have been carried out by a ‘Trades Union Congress’ approved Health & Safety Advisor, of which we have already worked with for a number of years.

The purpose of the risk assessments will be to carefully assess any potential hazards that may apply to the environment that we are in along with any remedial action required by us to follow, so as to manage the risk accordingly.

The following hierarchy of risk management will be applied to each risk identified as per the risk assessment carried out:

STEP 1 If possible, we will remove the hazard

STEP 2 If it is not possible to remove the hazard, we will seek to control the hazard (e.g. we may control over-crowding in lifts by reducing the capacity to one person)

STEP 3 If it is not possible to control the hazard, we will protect the individuals in the building (e.g. through the enforcement of PPE where if physical distancing cannot be followed)

Below are some examples (this is not an exhaustive list of actions) of the risks we have already pro-actively identified and what we have done to resolve them: Higher Risk Areas: These are spaces that are shared and have a high number of people going through them or using them throughout the day.

In these extraordinary times, physical distancing (sometimes referred to as social distancing) is of key importance to reduce the spread of the virus.

We recognise the concerns around how we can maintain physical distancing measures when in an office environment. Nonetheless, One Avenue will be taking a firm stance on physical distancing with the measures put in place, in order to make this as easy a transition as possible for all who occupy the building.

STAIRWELLS

➳ We will be implementing a one-way system, where possible, for stairways to stop people having to get too close when crossing each other on the stairs.

The stairways will be clearly marked with signs indicating what direction you can go

➳ Where this is not possible, please be respectful of others by looking ahead before walking up or down stairs. If somebody is already on the stairwell, please allow them to pass before entering

Communal Areas We will be implementing the following physical distancing measures in these key areas of the building:

RECEPTION AND LOUNGES

➳ We will have 2-metre physical distancing floor stickers at the entrance of the building and leading to our lifts. Anyone entering the building and approaching reception will have to comply with such distances

BUSINESS SUPPORT OFFICE

➳ We will move desks and other soft seating that is there for clients accordingly to ensure the distancing between clients and the Centre Team is at least 2 metres between each individual

➳ The team will politely remind clients of such measures to be abided by in the event where this is not adhered to

CORRIDORS

➳ Where possible, we will implement one-way walk systems in the corridors and utilise other exits/ opposite staircases that each side of the building has

➳ Where this is not possible, corridors will remain a two-way walkway. If this is the case, we ask that you be respectful of others by looking before walking out into the corridor. If someone is already coming past you, hold back until the space is clear, whilst maintaining your distance

KITCHENS

➳ We will add 2-metre distancing floor stickers in the kitchen areas to ensure anyone wanting to use the kitchen facilities can abide by physical distancing measures

➳ Depending on the size of the kitchen, there will be signs to clearly state how many people are able to use the kitchen at any one time

➳ If the kitchen is being used at the time, we request that you wait patiently until the kitchen is free and you queue in accordance with the 2-metre rule, outside the kitchen

➳ To help ensure this is possible, it is advised lunch breaks are staggered as best as possible and/or utilise the Centre Team to assist with lunches and refreshments, as noted in Section 3

TOILETS

➳ We will add 2-metre distancing floor stickers in the toilet areas to ensure anyone wanting to use the toilet facilities waits until there is an acceptable amount of space

➳ We will be limiting toilet use to 1 person at a time, regardless of if there is more than one cubicle in any block of toilets

➳ When entering the toilet, if you see anybody else in there, or any of the doors are engaged, you must exit the toilet and wait outside until said person has vacated, whilst obeying the 2-metre rule outside the toilet

BOARDROOMS/ MEETING ROOMS

➳ In kitchens that have benching, seating placements will clearly be marked as to which ones can be utilised at the same time as someone else using one of the other seats

➳ In each seating area, signage will clearly state how many people are safely allowed to utilise such area at any one time, as applicable to each set-up accordingly

➳ Whilst distancing measures are in place, breakout spaces will not be permitted for events

LIFTS

➳ Where required, we will be implementing a one-person-per-lift restriction, on a first-come, first-serve basis facilitated by the reception team, to ensure the safety of all individuals in the building

➳ Furthermore, where required, we will be using stairwells to go down so as to avoid the lifts being used in both directions and thereby avoiding further contact with others

➳ If using stairs to go up or down poses a potential problem for you or any of your members of staff, please do not hesitate to raise this with your Centre Manager

➳ Please remain patient if using the lifts as this may take longer than usual. We recommend giving yourself a little extra time to get to your office whilst physical distancing rules apply

Private Office Space We have further identified below some recommendations for you to consider, in relation to your office specifically, to ensure the safety and happiness of your team, as follows:

PROTECTIVE SCREENS

➳ It has been recommended that employers supply their teams with clear screens that can be attached to desks, safely separating themselves from others within the team

➳ We have a number of suppliers that are able to supply these to you at a lower cost than Recommended Retail Price. If you would like to enquire further about these, please speak to your Centre Manager

There are two levels of ‘higher risk’ people, these are:

➳ High risk (clinically, extremely vulnerable) ➳ Moderate risk (clinically vulnerable) People at ‘high risk’ from Covid-19 include (but is not limited to) people who:

➳ Have had an organ transplant ➳ Are receiving chemotherapy or antibody treatment for cancer, including immunotherapy

➳ Are having an intense course of radiotherapy ➳ Have blood or bone marrow cancer STAFFING LEVELS

➳ Another initiative to maintain the physical distancing measures within your office are to consider introducing shift work (to include weekends if that works for you), staggered shift times or continuing to keep a portion of your team that are the non-critical workers working from home for the time-being, on a rotating basis

➳ You could also fix shifts to set workers. As far as possible, where staff are split into teams or shift groups, fixing these teams or shift groups where contact is unavoidable, will help reduce contact between multiple people

➳ Where feasible, you could also consider reducing the number of people each person comes into contact with by using a ‘fixed partnering’ approach. This is where you assign a buddy to each employee and that pair only ever work together on things when more than one person is needed. This pair doesn’t change

VULNERABLE EMPLOYEES It is important to identify any vulnerable or ‘at risk’ employees and how you will treat them.

➳ Will they continue to be allowed to work from home and/or if they are returning to the workplace, what extra measures do you need to take in respect to them?

➳ Be mindful of the Equal Opportunities Commission

➳ Have been told by a doctor that they have a severe lung condition (such as cystic fibrosis, severe asthma or sever COPD)

➳ Have a condition that means they have a very high risk of getting infections (such as SCID or Sickle Cell)

FACE MASKS Wearing a face mask is optional and is not required by law, including in the workplace. However, if you do choose to wear a face covering, it is important to use it correctly and to wash your hands before putting them on and taking them off. If an employee wishes to wear a face mask, employers should support their workers in using face masks safely.

➳ Change your face mask if it becomes damp or if

GLOVES Gloves can be useful in protecting your hands as they act as a barrier between the virus and your skin.

They are however, only useful if they are used correctly. The following guidance is recommended if you consider using protective gloves:

➳ Wash hands before putting gloves on and before putting on a fresh pair

➳ Make sure they fit properly - a glove that is too big will not stay on your hand and a glove that is too small may rip or tear easily

➳ You should always change your gloves before beginning a new task or after handling food

➳ Never touch your face or personal belongings with gloves, the gloves are protecting your hands only. If you have touched a contaminated surface with your gloves and then touch your face or your phone, then those surfaces may also become contaminated

➳ Removing gloves correctly is paramount. Grasp them at the cuff and peel them off inside out over your fingers. Avoid touching your palms or fingers with the glove

➳ Dispose of gloves in a bin immediately after use and do not re-use them

Physical Distancing Marshals The Centre Team will be acting as ‘physical distancing marshals’ to ensure that all clients are cohering to the physical distancing rules and procedures. Anyone that dismisses the rules, will be addressed accordingly.

All employees will receive training on Covid-19 safety and sanitisation protocols prior to lockdown ending, by undertaking comprehensive learning modules to build up their knowledge.

In addition, all employees will have a company briefing regarding all protocols One Avenue will be implementing across its portfolio. This will ensure that staff are comfortable and confident with their roles and responsibilities and are therefore fully adapted to support all client needs - whatever they may be.

Furthermore, as mentioned, we have selected on-site personnel to undergo advanced Health & Safety courses, in order to obtain their IOSH, COSHH and NEBOSH qualifications so as to ensure they are fully

SHIFT PATTERNS

We have identified the following initial steps for you to consider in order to safeguard your employees whilst resuming a form of the ‘new normal’ sooner rather than later:

➳ You may not necessarily require all staff members to return to the work place all in one go - it may be that your business can function with some employees working from home, particularly those that are not your key workers

➳ The Centre Team will also be staggering their team shifts so as to be present on site to support any potential changes to working patterns

RECONFIGURATION OF OFFICE SPACE

➳ It is advised that you do not sit directly next to someone

➳ It is also recommended that you remove every other chair to prevent any sudden urge to sit next to your colleagues!

➳ If you do not have the capacity to do this, you can implement privacy screens in between each desk ensuring that the distance is kept, whilst minimising the spread of any germs amongst colleagues and not losing out on using desk capacity of the office

➳ Furthermore, you have the option to upgrade to a larger space at any time, so please do enquire further about this with us

➳ In larger office spaces, we suggest that you make use of your internal meeting rooms/ breakout spaces and executive offices to place staff at a safe distance from one another

➳ Lessens the chance of workers becoming tired and irritated With the ‘new way of working’ it is important to ensure that your employees are comfortable at their desks, especially when they will be spending more time at their desks to comply with physical distancing measures.

➳ Think about encouraging employees to bring prepared meals from home for lunch to give them peace of mind that their food is safe as it was prepared themselves along with re-fillable drinks bottles and flasks to minimise having to use shared kitchen stock

➳ We recommend introducing a ‘clear desk policy’ in order for the cleaners to fully sanitise working area surfaces. This also gives the individual working from that desk a sense of control that could positively influence their outlook and give a sense of calm

Health Screening and Internal Reporting

We have introduced a Covid-19 Health Checklist that will be utilised for all guests that wish to enter one of our buildings (see Appendix 1).

With regards to health screening your team, we recommend that you follow the same procedures we are carrying out on our staff. Please see the Testing section on Page 41 for guidance on this. It is vital that individuals do not come into the office should they report any symptoms of Covid-19.

Reporting Employees with Symptoms If you or any of your team in the building (or those that have been in the building) start to show symptoms of Covid-19, it is important that this is reported to The Centre Team.

We have identified designated isolation zones in each building to ensure there is an area in the building that anyone with symptoms may go to whilst in the building, in which they can gather further advice from health bodies and/or arrange transport home.

Anyone with symptoms must self-isolate for 7 days and feel in good health and symptom-free again before re-entering the premises.
