Program Length
• 39 credit hours = 3 semesters • Can be completed in as little as 12 months • Classes are two consecutive days a week • Final semester requires a full time commitment for student teaching/practicum completion • Additional schedule C AQ courses required for unconditional Ontario Certification
• 60 credit hours = 4 semesters (Fall/Spring) • Completed in 2 years • No summer session • Classes are held 4-5 days per week, including field experiences • All courses are held in Ontario

Total cost for the program fee is $795 per credit hour. X 39 credit hours = $31,005 U.S. for the total program *Cost for Canadian bridge course is an additional $150

Required Testing for Certification
NYS requires candidates to pass the following exams in order to become certified: • Education All Students Test (EAS) • Content Specialty Test (CST) • University comprehensive evaluation Elementary Education: required to have completed one course in each: English, Math, Science, and Social Studies from an accredited college or university.
Academic Requirements
Intermediate/Senior: two teachables are required. The first requires 36 units (6 full year or 12 half year courses) The second requires 18 units (3 full year courses or 6 half year courses)
