The reason why I chose this topic, about cheese, is because of some reasons. Firstly, because many people, especially in Indonesia, don’t know what they are talking about when they hear the word ‘cheese’. Most Indonesian people will think that Roquefort cheese is stale cheese. And cheese in Indonesia is only about the cheddar and mozzarella. The cheese world is actually very wide and I want to inform about it in this book.
The second reason is that I think a book of chocolate has been made many times before. I first wanted to come up with a chocolate book, and I thought I wanted to make something unusual, so I come up with cheese
This topic was not an easy topic though. Because I need to limit ‘the wide world of cheese’ to one book, so I will have to make selection to the cheese types I’m going to describe, or the recipes I want to include. And also, cheese varieties are not a common thing to see around this country, so I could not use my own photography to be included in the book.
