SWEETFIRE

erly positioned to the left of the entrance to avoid spoiling the view. It has a classic look to it that’s sure to draw business patrons. Just south of the bar, you’ll find a little vignette, BOCADO featuring elegant bites intended to pair with wine. They also offer a selection of charcuterie and cheeses. The limited list was intriguing, including duck pastrami, Spanish chorizo and wild boar and venison sausage. Featured cheeses were a seasonal blue, horseradish pecan and goat cheese boursin. You’ll find no more relaxing setting in the city than the Palmer Grille at the Clubhouse. It overlooks the 18th green. This stunning restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch only. It has a very limited menu but is worth visiting if only to sit in one of their luxurious chairs to take in a dazzling view of the hill country that frames a beautiful course. ■
