It is with great honor and joy that I, as the President of the New Haven Alumnae Chapter, welcome you to this wonderful event where we pay tribute to the outstanding work carried out by five remarkable organizations in Greater New Haven. Maya Angelou's timeless words resonate deeply today: "Nothing can dim the light that shines from within."
In the heart of our community, these organizations radiate a light that guides, uplifts, and inspires. Today, we gather to recognize their commitment to service, their dedication to bettering lives, and their tireless efforts in making Greater New Haven a beacon of hope and progress.
As we come together to celebrate their remarkable achievements, let us be reminded of the profound impact that can be made when we nurture the light within ourselves and others. May this event serve as a testament to the power of collective action, the strength of community, and the enduring spirit that drives positive change.
