Craft Fair 3 May / 10.00 – 16.00 To raise vital funds for their end-of-Degree Exhibition, final year students of this year’s Glass & Ceramics degree course will be holding a Craft Fair in The Pod at National Glass Centre. University Open Days 7 June and 19 August The University of Sunderland organise a number of open days throughout the year. Father’s Day 15 June Celebrate Father’s Day at National Glass Centre. Little ones can make a beautiful glass painted tile on 14 or 15 June (see page 17) and you can book dad a delicious meal in our Brasserie (see page 13 for details). Sunderland Big Bike Ride 18 May Sunderland Big Bike Ride leaves from St Peter’s Campus this year. Cyclists can take advantage of our new bike hoops and book for a delicious, re-fuelling Sunday lunch in our Brasserie after the race. All cyclists that book for Sunday lunch, will receive a free reflective bicycle clip! Sunderland Big Walk 14 September We will be open from 9.00 on the day of Sunderland Big Walk and walkers can purchase tea and coffee from our entrance ramp prior to taking part.
