The North Georgia Community Foundation spent 2022 on a path, alongside our fundholders, of growthandexpansioninavarietyofwayswhichyouwillseehighlightedthroughoutthisreport We provided enriching nonprofit educational opportunities, distributed a record-breaking amount of scholarship funding and awarded 43 nonprofit organizations a total of $618,172 through our NGCF GrantProgramming!
In2022,oneofourmostvisiblechangeswasmovingourofficeamiledowntheroadtothe6thfloor of the Pinnacle Bank building in Gainesville. This move had been carefully planned since 2019, and wewereexcitedtoseeitcometofruition.Inaddition,wewereabletocreatetheNGCFCommunity Room,ameetingspacefornonprofitsandbusinessorganizations.
These exciting accomplishments would not have been possible without our generous fundholders, theleadershipofourBoardofDirectors,andthetirelesseffortsofnonprofitswhoaddresstheneeds of those in our community As we celebrate the accomplishments of the year, we continuously look tothefuturetofindmorewaystobuildlegaciesandgrowourimpact,ForGood.ForEver.
