WHO WE ARE The North Georgia Community Foundation (NGCF) encourages and inspires philanthropy across North Georgia. Since 1985, NGCF has worked with fundholders to help them meet their philanthropic dreams and they have been instrumental in community initiatives and support. • NGCF manages a portfolio of 515 charitable funds, totaling $119.5 million in assets.* • Since inception, NGCF has awarded over $149 million in grants and scholarships to nonprofits and students across North Georgia.* • Since January 2004, NGCF’s investment portfolio has an annualized return of 9.6%, a higher average than other community foundation peers.* • G.R.O.W. (Growing Roots of Wisdom), the nonprofit education umbrella of NGCF, provides high quality and cost-effective leadership training and programming designed to enhance and enable nonprofits to further their organizations’ missions. • NGCF’s office has been in the Pinnacle Building in downtown Gainesville, since 2022. The NGCF Community Room is located here, as well. • The NGCF Nonprofit Community Center located off Oak Street in Gainesville, serves nonprofits with affordable office space and access to meeting rooms. *Numbers and amounts stated are as of December 31, 2023
