Located: Sam maintains his operation in Obion County in NW Tennessee where over 100,000 acres of soybeans are planted in the county alone.

Size of Operation: Sam operates a 500 acre operation in Obion County where the average farm size is 445 acres.

Issues: Sam is always looking for ways to increase profitability due to the volatility in prices of this commodity. He is constrained by time as the sole operator on his operation.

How we Connect: We met Sam at the Tennessee Soybean Festival last year.

Canopy’s sales team meets interested TN farmers at one of the many Farm Bureau events annually and discusses how Canopy can help.

Agree to provide specified services for a farmer’s field.

Determine a date for execution and provide expectations to client.

Data Transfer and Upload

Execute Flight Plan

Source pilot for the flight

Pilot completes stipulated flight plan and captures required imagery of farmer’s field.

Contract with a Canopy preferred pilot to execute flight plan.

Provide pricing and specifications.

Pilot transfers imagery to Canopy HQ where it is uploaded into cloud software and reports are created.
