As we move into our holiday season, let’s pause and reflect on the many blessings we have as an NFI North community I recently was listening to a podcast where the person said that the last 2 months of the year is often the time people push to complete the goals they set at the beginning of the year and thus it can be very productive. It is also a time when we move into darkness as daylight savings time arrives, often forcing us to change our patterns of productivity. I believe these two concepts merging gives us the space to focus on ending the year on a positive note and begin to think forward to what the new year might hold. “Finish Strong” as they say.
This time of year, is also a time to be grateful for all we have and give to others who may not be as fortunate. As an agency we have chosen to do what we can to help those with food insecurities. We are neighbors feeding neighbors, whether it be volunteering at a soup kitchen, giving to a food bank, or preparing baskets for Thanksgiving. Our goal is that no one goes hungry. Please join us as we kick off this campaign. Together we can make a difference
We wish you a terrific holiday with family and friends
With Gratitude, Jill

IRE HIGHLIGHT
Camille Kennedy, MSN
We are thrilled to honor Camille Kennedy as the Staff of the Month for New Hampshire. Not only has she been instrumental in rebuilding and developing exceptional systems for the Ashland THS program, benefiting both the team and participants, but she has also exemplified true NFI spirit by stepping up to provide additional nursing coverage for CRP programs and other THS sites across the state.
Additionally, she is collaborating with our Nursing Director to create a comprehensive nursing orientation. This curriculum development and shadowing program is currently in progress.
Overall, Camille has excelled in system building, including establishing competencies and adding layers that enhance uniformity and stability across all nursing operations. We deeply appreciate her expertise and valuable nursing experience.
MAINE HIGHLIGHT
Brandon Ingaharro
Mister Rogers has a quote where he talks about during times of crisis, look for the helpers- there are always helpers trying to help. Brandon is a true Helper.
He is a team player that is passionate about the work he does and those he works with. He brings a sense of humor along with a practical problem-solving approach that makes him a true asset in the mental health field. He leads with compassion, kindness and a direct communication style that is authentic. His team looks to him for guidance, support and for a laugh during a hard moment. And- if anyone was at the recent NFI North Conference, he sure made us all smile with his Karaoke performance of Small Town Girl by Journey.
Brandon is a source of hope for those he works with, as well as for NFI North. He has strong community connections and relationships and promotes our agency with positivity, professionalism and solutions. He volunteers at events like the NAMI walk and Special Olympics and is a cheerleader for everyone. He helps with core Trainings, covering shifts in residential programs and also plays the role of Mr. Fixit for house repairs and needs for several programs.
The CCM team loves him and are SUPER PROUD to have him on our side!
Stetson Ranch is a residential program for youth ages 10-20 and have a fully licensed Day Treatment School with intensive family treatment components At Stetson Ranch, kids always come first.
Stetson Ranch students and staff were out spreading some fall cheer this morning before their field trip day They popped by to drop off a basket of get well goodies to the folks at Finson Road as well as a basket of fall fun to their pals at Summit View before venturing out to the Corinna Fire Department. There, Chief Emerson and two of his firefighters gave a tour of their brand new fire department including their trucks and equipment They also did some safety demonstrations and facilitated a fire safety education video. Afterwards, the fire department surprised the students with a Pizza Luncheon to wrap up the day. Huge THANK YOU to Corinna Fire Department for volunteering their time to Stetson Ranch today and for all you do to support the local
November is Early Childhood Mental Health Awareness Month, but also includes Anti-Bullying Week, Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week and International Stress Awareness Day!
“Bullying is when a person or group deliberately tries to make someone else feel upset, scared, or ashamed People often bully others who have any difference of behavior, appearance, culture, race, class, ability, or identity.”

U.S. Antibiotic Awareness Week (November 18-24)
CDC advises patients and their families to Be Antibiotics Aware and is advising patients and their families to use antibiotics only when necessary to reduce antimicrobial resistance, help stop the spread of superbugs and protect patients from side effects from antibiotics
CDC encourages patients and families to use the educational resources and learn more about Be Antibiotics Aware by visiting: https://www.cdc.gov/antibiotic-use/index.html.
“While they sound similar, early childhood mental health and early childhood mental illness are two different things affecting children before their fifth birthday. Approximately 17% of children are diagnosed with a mental illness before their eighth birthday. While those children must receive proper care, all preschoolers need positive mental health as it helps them productively interact with people in their environment
First and foremost we want to thank our Veterans, thank you to all who have served in our military, and to those who continue to serve. Thank you to the .families who give unconditionally, and to the many who have lost loved ones, we appreciate you
