For those looking for fun in the sun this summer, Albany has summer experiences suitable for children ages 3-15. NEXUS Summer Experiences provides age-appropriate activities and programs throughout the summer to ensure fun-filled memories for all.

EXPLORERS CLUB
AGES 3-5
Welcome to the Explorers Club, the ultimate summer day experiences with nonstop, fun-filled indoor and outdoor activities designed for young children ages 3-5. Our program offers distinctly-themed activities during each weekly session and special events for participants.
SESSION I
MONDAY, JUNE 30 - FRIDAY, JULY 4
Under The Sea
Dive into summer in the Bahamas by exploring all things ocean wide. In addition to the many magical species of ocean life, campers will learn about conservation and the importance of water safety.
SESSION II
MONDAY, JULY 7 - FRIDAY, JULY 11
I’m a Superhero
Campers will develop their inner superhero as we use creative ways to explore ways to help others in our families, schools and communities. Children will explore elements of design as they create their own superhero capes as a keepsake.
SESSION III
MONDAY, JULY 14 - FRIDAY, JULY 18
Culinary Carnival
Our Explorers will create their own culinary masterpieces by whipping up some simple treats and kids’ cuisine in the kitchen after live instruction from Albany’s very own talented pastry and sous chefs.
SESSION IV
MONDAY, JULY 21 - FRIDAY, JULY 25
Camping & The Great Outdoors
It’s time to pitch our tents and enjoy the great outdoors. Fishing, binoculars, campfire, and s’mores are all on the agenda for this unforgettable week of daytime camping fun.
The Explorers Club participants will also enjoy a variety of athletics such as swimming, tennis, golf, and creative and performing arts during each weekly session of NEXUS Summer Experiences.
Created for children ages 6-10, the Adventurers Club provides participants with exposure to different themed activities during each weekly session and a variety of other subject-specific disciplines offered each day, allowing children to learn new subject areas and excel as they progress throughout the week.
MUSIC
Learn from our skilled music instructors and gain knowledge with hands on experience in music performance, music technology, and music production, including creating and recording individual and group tracks.
STEM
Adventurers will have the opportunity to push the limits of their creativity. Learning to design and create using 3D printers, laser printers and cutting-edge science and technology software alongside our STEM experts.
SEAVENTURE
Campers will dive in and explore the beauty of marine life, featuring instruction on marine biology and marine conservation. This immersive and exciting experience will help children answer questions like, how important is the ocean and what can we do to protect it and its diverse population?
SPORTS
Adventurers will have access to our state-of-the-art outdoor and indoor sports disciplines including pickle ball, tennis, golf, basketball, soccer, soft archery, swimming, baseball batting cage training, trampoline park, dodge ball, laser tag and much more.

TRAILBLAZERS CLUB
AGES 11 - 15
For ages 11 - 15, the Trailblazers Club was designed to provide participants with individual experiences based on their personal interests, passions and strengths. Upon registration, Trailblazers will rank their preferences in both our Skills Programs and Sports Programs to allow the NEXUS Summer Experience leaders to formulate individual schedules specific to each child.
SKILLS PROGRAMS
Music
Learn from our skilled music instructors and gain knowledge with hands on experience in music performance, music technology, and music production, including creating and recording individual and group tracks.

Esports
Explore Albany’s elite E-gaming facility, designed and built by Brynic Solutions, creator of numerous E-Sporting facilities within universities across the United States. Participants will gain experience using 10 individual gaming stations, two full race car simulators and two VR systems.
PADI Certification*
Trailblazers ages 10 and older may opt to enroll and receive their PADI certification during NEXUS Summer Experiences. This will occur during Blocks 1 and 2. On Monday and Tuesday, staff members will guide students through the online portions of the certification and on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday students will travel to Stuart Coves for practical, real-life experiences and training.

SPORTS PROGRAMS
Racquet
Gain instruction from our world-ranked tennis and padel professionals. Focus on specific racquet sport disciplines from pickleball and padel, to tennis and table tennis.
Golf
Under the instruction of coaches and top golf professionals in the industry, participants will play practice rounds on Albany’s 18-hole championship golf course, run drills and station training on the range and practice areas, and have their swing video analyzed with TrackMan and Swing Catalyst data.
Basketball & Soccer
For those interested in dribbling on the basketball court or soccer pitch, participants will gain valuable skills from renowned trainers and coaches through drills, practice sessions and games.
