GENERAL INFORMATION
LATECOMERS
Depending on the event you may be asked to wait until a suitable break in the production so as to minimise disruption. If there is no suitable point for you to enter the auditorium the Front of House team will let you in, but you will be directed to the nearest available empty seats so as to not disrupt the performance/event further.
If the production does not allow for latecomers to be allowed entry - we have to follow that instruction as it will be part of the contract/agreement we have with the performer/company.
In this instance no refunds will be given. However if there are multiple shows for the same production/event we may be able to exchange your ticket if there are spaces.
WHEELCHAIR AND ACCESSIBLE SEATING
The venue operates with a number of flexible seating arrangements. This ranges from full theatre style seating to cabaret style seating with tables, to unallocated seating/standing arrangements.
If you are a wheelchair user, or have accessibility requirements, please contact the Hall Manager on 01299 823339 during box o ce hours and we will help you find the seats most suitable for your needs.
CHILD SUITABLE SEATING
We currently do not have dedicated seating for children. However if you wish to bring your own booster seats with you so that your children can see better, please feel free.
Please be aware that for events with Full Theatre Style Seating all the seats tip up when empty or when there is not enough weight on them. The Civic bears no liability for anyone using their own booster seats.
BREASTFEEDING
The Civic, Stourport welcomes parents who are Breastfeeding. We have a quieter area of the venue with comfortable seating and tables. If you prefer some privacy, please speak to one of our sta who will gladly assist you.
There is also some seating in the bar area which may also be suitable.
BABY CHANGING FACILITIES
There is a wall mounted baby changing table in the accessible toilet along the main corridor from the foyer to the bar. This is a unisex toilet so anyone can use it.
PUSHCHAIRS, PRAMS AND BUGGIES
The venue operates with a number of flexible seating arrangements. This ranges from full theatre style seating to cabaret style seating with tables, to unallocated seating/standing arrangements.
For full theatre seating there is no space for pushchairs, prams and buggies inside the auditorium/ main hall.
This is due to the need to keep aisles and gangways clear for audience members to get in and out of the auditorium/main hall during the event.
Pushchairs, prams and buggies should be folded up, where possible, and can be left in the foyer until the end of the event.
Any items are left in the foyer at the owner’s risk.

MY MOUNTAIN LIFE BY SIMON YATES
For nearly a quarter of a century the Neil Coley Big Band has been entertaining audiences across the West Midlands. Working with nationally acclaimed vocalists, the band brings to life the golden era of Big Band Music, featuring such household names as Glenn Miller, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, right up to present day stars such as Michael Buble and Adele.
Tickets: £10.00 7.30PM
On the remote Siula Grande in Peru in June 1985, mountaineer Simon Yates found himself in a desperately unenviable position. He was slowly being pulled o the mountain face by his injured partner, Joe Simpson, dangling on the rope 50m below. His decision to cut the rope saved both their lives in the epic of survival that followed. With the publication of the book ‘Touching the Void’ and the later film and stage play, both men became household names.
Over 35 years later he is still an active exploratory climber and guide making several expeditions to the mountains each year. From the Arctic to the Antarctic, Alaska to Central Asia there is hardly a significant range he has not visited. Come along and witness Simon’s tireless journey from that mountain in Peru to some of the remotest on the planet and share with him the drama, excitement and beauty of modern lightweight alpinism. Told with wit, dry humour and lavishly illustrated with images and video collected on his great climbs.

MURDER MYSTERY
APRIL Fri 14th
Renowned as the original and very best Bee Gees tribute show, and THE ONLY Bee Gees tribute show that have actually performed with the original Bee Gees! In 1997 Gary & Darren from Jive Talkin performed LIVE on HEART FM with THE BEE GEES and received great compliments from both Maurice and Barry Gibb.
As with the original Bee Gees, Jive Talkin is very much a family a air, with brothers Gary and Darren Simmons taking the roles of Barry and Maurice Gibb, with Darren’s son Jack joining the group in 2014 and taking on the role of Robin Gibb. The guys are supported musically by a four piece band with Lead Guitar, Violin, Cello and Drums, to ensure that every note in every song is just right!
Wherever the group play they receive superb plaudits; “The Soundalike quality is quite sensational” (The Stage), “Amazing similarity to the real Bee Gees” (Wakefield Express), Absolutely Brilliant (Maurice Gibb), WOW (Barry Gibb).
For a truly amazing experience and an opportunity to hear all the great Bee Gees hits; Tragedy, Night Fever, Massachusetts, Stayin Alive, Jive Talkin, etc, in a 2 hour explosion of music and vocal harmony, this is a night not to be missed!

When you enter Stourport join the one way system which will take you into the town. In the first instance follow the brown tourist signs directing you to the “Riverside and Car Parks”.
You should come to a mini-roundabout at the junction of the High Street, Bridge Street and New Street. Opposite you on the left should be Little Big Town and further up the road opposite you will see the Hope and Anchor pub.
Head straight over the mini-roundabout, onto New Street. The Civic Hall is the last building on the left with the purple fascias. The road immediately before the building takes you to the public car parks. These have recently changed to charging until 9pm.
