Re:
NexGen Global Technologies, LLC
Dear Ms. Dortch: On December 10, 2014, Richard Swann as counsel, Michael Romano, CEO of NexGen and I met with Tim May, David Siehl, Dana Zelman, and David Furth of the Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau. We met concerning the efforts of NexGen to achieve a universal text to 911 solution as well as its ability to immediately deliver text and media on a call back basis. Mr. Romano explained the need for NexGen to obtain access to the TCC database in order to achieve the final text to 911 solution Also discussed was the current ability of NexGen to deliver data and media access to the existing PSAP's and how the technology was performing for the Florida School for Deaf and Blind. The discussion centered around the need to deliver 911 services to the deaf and speech impaired. All parties recognized that this is a priority and discussed ways in which to expedite the delivery of the service.
