Musicians will perform on two stages, located in Hyack Square and at the intersection of Sixth Street and Columbia Street. Beer gardens will be located at the Heritage Grill and at Drink Urban Lounge. Additionally, there will be buskers, vendors, face painting and activities for children. The poker run is Saturday, July 9, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. with registration taking place at city hall. Participants must visit local businesses to collect cards, with the goal of getting the best poker hand. Prizes are awarded to the best and worst hands, with approximately 50 door prizes to also be given away, said Shannon. The car show starts at 10 a.m. on Sunday and is one of the largest outdoor car shows in British Columbia. “It’s an all day family affair with a lot of activity and a great atmosphere,” said Shannon.
