While funds are not readily available to continue such a composer in residence program annually, organizers hope to orchestrate such similar opportunities in the future. Lewis Kelly, West Orange High School director of bands and director of the wind ensemble, instated a brand new WOHS Music Boosters funded Composer-in-Residence program just this year and invited Bruce Yurko to participate. Yurko led the Cherry Hill High School East Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, and Chamber Music program up until 2005 and also conducted the Cherry Hill High School West Wind Ensemble.
