Roxbury HS Musicians Make North Jersey Bands
ight students from Roxbury High School were accepted into North Jersey School Music Association ensembles recently and were expected to perform in late January. The students who made the Wind Ensemble, competing with more than 400 students, are Kristin Andlauer, 1st chair French horn; Mathew Ehren-
berg, trombone; Kathleen Walsh, 1st chair euphonium;, and Jonah Nack, timpani. Nack will also be playing timpani in the Region 1 Orchestra. The students who made the Symphonic Band are Emma McDonald, trumpet; Kaitlyn Winters, 1st chair French horn;, Meghan Spino, tuba;, and Adam Kriegsfeld, tuba.

cont. from page 6 soldier care packages to those deployed. This year, not only are we reaching out by making valentines, but during Lent, we are having a drive for Operation Chillout. During the summer, that organization gives out bottles of water, t-shirts, and caps to homeless veter-
ans, while also reaching out to help them in other ways. I’ve been told dehydration is a big concern for those living on the streets. We hope to collect a good number of items to help Operation Chillout and to continue to show our love and respect for those who have served this country.”

oxbury High School plans to present “Seussical The Musical,’’ March 1 through March 3 in the Succasunna school. The show will be performed March 1 and March 2 at 7 p.m., and March 3 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. The cost is $12. Tickets
