Welcome Back, Senior Families!

I want to extend a heartfelt welcome to all of our senior students, parents, and guardians to the 2024-2025 school year. I hope your summer was filled with rest, joy, and memorable moments together.

This year, our theme isGratitude. As a school community, we want to focus on recognizing and appreciating the efforts, kindness, and support we receive from one another. We are looking forward to a wonderful year ahead filled with resilience, enthusiasm and gratitude. I would like to express my gratitude for our Senior Teachers who have spent weeks preparing for, and anticipating wonderful days ahead for this school year.

As we journey through this school year, let us remember to express our gratitude often to our teachers, to each other, and to ourselves Together, we can make this year one of growth, kindness, and success

Staff Introductions

We are thrilled to welcome our new Senior Team members to our school community! Their extensive experience and passion for education will undoubtedly enrich our programs and inspire both students and staff alike. We are confident that their leadership will play a pivotal role in driving our school’s continued success, and we look forward to the fresh perspectives and innovative ideas they will bring to our team.

I thrive on helping and inspiring students to reach their full potential I bring energy and enthusiasm to make learning fun and engaging I'm excited to share this journey with my students and colleagues, making every day an opportunity for growth and joy.

I am very passionate about helping all children reach their potential and enjoy challenging students to be curious and take risks in their learning. I am excited to start a new year at Newtons Grove School and look forward to the upcoming academic year.

From a young age, I nurtured a love for teaching, which has led me to engage with students in various capacities over the years I am truly excited to join Newton's Grove, it is my goal to bring enthusiasm, knowledge, and a studentcentered approach to the classroom, ensuring that each student feels valued and motivated to achieve their full potential

Flexible, Innovative Learning Spaces

We're excited to introduce innovative flexible learning spaces designed to foster creativity and critical thinking These classrooms are equipped with adaptable furniture and collaborative workstations, allowing students to engage in dynamic group discussions, hands-on projects, and independent reflection The goal is to create an environment where students can explore ideas freely, work together in new ways, and develop problem-solving skills essential for the future By reimagining our learning spaces, we’re making education more engaging and personalized, inspiring every student to reach their full potential.

Global Learning Program!

We're thrilled to introduce our new Global Learning Program, designed specifically for senior students This exciting initiative will provide mmersive, international experiences that broaden perspectives and prepare students for the global stage.

To highlight a few Two new excursions for Grade 9-12 are New York City, USA and Machu Picchu, Peru!!!

First Day of School

On the first day of school, we’re hosting an orientation day to help students settle in and get comfortable with their new classrooms It’s a chance for them to meet their teachers, receive their syllabi, and get familiar with the layout of the senior school

September 3rd, 2024 - Orientation Day

Please join us for Coffee on the Court from 8:15-9:15 AM Students will receive their timetables this morningOrientation Day will be a “Day 0”, and Wednesday September 4th will be a “Day 1”

What To Wear and Bring

Wear your uniform & black shoes, golf shirts are ok! Shoes should be black from shoelace to sole Bring a backpack, pencils & pens, pencil case and binder, laptop, lunch & labeled water bottle

This year our school-wide theme is, “Finding Daily Gratitude” in our teaching and learning. We look forward to sharing these moments of gratitude with the community in our weekly editions of, “The Grove”. We ask that you chat with your child about the benefits of practicing gratitude and why it is so important to practice daily.
