Classrooms That Think

The Principal’s Welcome ...

Welcome back to a brand-new school year! Whether you are a returning family, or one that is just joining our outstanding community, we hope your summer has been filled with fun, laughter, and well earned rest. Whether you were soaking up the sun, exploring new places, or just enjoying time with family; we are thrilled to welcome you all!

The start of another school year always brings with it a mix of emotions- excitement, curiosity, maybe a few butterflies in the stomach- and that is all perfectly normal.

As principal, I am eagerly anticipating walking the halls and seeing the students’ smiling faces, feel their enthusiasm about this new adventure, and to experience the joy of learning together The teachers have been hard at work preparing for this new phase and we can assure you that this year will be filled with meaningful learning, new friendships, and unforgettable memories

Newton’s Grove School welcomes you with open arms, open minds, and open hearts

This Year’s School Theme Is: Finding Daily Gratitude

This year, as a school, we are dedicated to focusing on “gratitude.” Finding gratitude in our daily lives, modelling gratitude for our phenomenal students, and paying our gratitude forward When we as a school community come together to appreciate what we have, where we are, and each other, the result and the return is immeasurable! Please join us in finding gratitude in all that we do

Classrooms That Think

Each year, as a faculty and school, we highlight new and innovative ways to deliver curriculum to our students. Our goal is to strengthen our students by challenging them, offering them engaging ways to receive modules, and allowing them to think critically about the world around them Classrooms that “think” is our overarching educational theme this year

It centers around the theory that students think better, thoroughly understand, and retain information, when given the opportunities to ask questions

Students flourish when they become a part of their learning and when they can collaborate on their research and tasks as a team.

With this learning approach, students are encouraged to evaluate and interpret learning from different angles and perspectives to make education a collective experience
