Our annual travel experiences are carefully selected and curated to ensure that they provide each student with a rich cultural experience that helps to foster a new understanding and awareness of the world around them and their place within it.

Here at Newton’s Grove, our holistic, wellrounded programming is designed to grow creative thinkers and leaders. This program has a strong focus, not only on fostering in students a stronger sense of community and belonging, but also developing invaluable leadership skills.

Outdoor education is the perfect backdrop for many experiential learning opportunities. Students are immersed in and contribute to something bigger than themselves, while they develop their unique leadership strengths and characteristics, all while capping off the end of a successful school year.

Linguistic Immersion

This four-day visit to Québec City is a program that is designed for students to not only explore the city and soak up the sites, but they will discover the stories that lie behind some of the most interesting and world-renowned historical sites.

Students will leave this tour with a new appreciation for French language, Quebec’s unique French culture, and a passion for travel.

For our Quebec City experience, we are proud to partner with Brightspark, an innately Canadian student travel provider that has been working with schools to deliver exceptional student travel experiences for over 40 years.

CAMP PINECREST, MUSKOKA

COST: NO ADDITIONAL COST (INCLUDED IN STUDENT TUITION)

Camp Pinecrest’s Three-Day Experience is a core part of our student Leadership Development Program. All Grade 9 students are expected to attend. This excursion provides students with opportunities to explore, discover, and expand their leadership potential through invaluable experiential learning activities.

We work directly with YMCA Camp Pinecrest to deliver this fun, creative, and engaging overnight camp program which teaches key leadership concepts and affords students a variety of opportunities to put new knowledge and skills into practice.

Interpersonal skills, collective reflection, critical thinking, equity, diversity and inclusion, health and wellness, mentorship, personal growth, and community involvement are just a few of the immeasurable skills that this Leadership Program helps to foster in a highly experiential way.

For our new Senior School students, this experience offers opportunities to build the bonds that will carry throughout high school and beyond.

This is an outstanding opportunity to experience New York City in an entirely unique way.

The itinerary is conscientiously curated to include everything from a Madison Square Garden NBA game, to Broadway shows, to a dinner/dance cruise with students from other schools.
