few national leaders of the All Progressives Congress risk arrest and prosecution for the roles they played to save
former Adamawa State Governor, Alhaji Murtala Nyako, from impeachment. New Telegraph learnt at weekend that security
agents on the directive of the presidency would soon be asked to go after the APC leaders if they continue accusing President Goodluck Jonathan
of being behind Nyako’s travails. However, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) defended the president against allegation of spon-
soring the impeachment of Nyako and accused APC of levelling baseless allegations against Jonathan. A senior government official told some journalists in Abuja that security agencies and the governCONTINUED ON PAGE 6
