Due to a recent decision by the U.S. Supreme Court, same-sex marriage has now become legal in the United States. Matthew Brickman took a stance on his support for this decision and why he supports both the right for legal protection and representation in gay marriage and gay divorce proceedings and how this impacts the State of Florida. (VIDEO) As of June 26th, the US Supreme Court has struck down the bans on same-sex marriage in a historic 5-4 ruling. In the State of Florida this means that the gay, lesbian and transgender community can get married and also get divorced as well. “No longer may this liberty be denied,� Justice Anthony M. Kennedy wrote for the majority in the historic decision.

Matthew Brickman released a video giving his stance on same-sex marriage saying, ""There has been alot of talk in the past few days for marriage equality and the ability now for all human beings, regardless of their sexual preference, being allowed to get married.
