We designed the logo from a non-visual start ing point. The CER Font Family is the first customized version of Braille, adding a typeface experience to the standard raised dots. Ateliê da Mata is a handcraft studio in the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil. Their creative impulse is to appreciate nature and collect descarded elements of the forest as workmaterial and inspiration through manufactured stationary goods. The clients desire was to reflect the importance of the forest with the commitment of unique handmade crafts. The woods simbolized by a typical amazon tree by the river, and the top made of the artists digital, embrace their concept that every product is one of a kind, like a fingerprint or nature.

ECOVITRUM - GLASS RECYCLING / 2018 Ecovitrum is a eco friendly company working with glass recycling based in Brazil. The challenge of the logo was to reinforce the area of activity of the company, highlighting its sustainable approach. The symbol explores the recycle cycle bringing the shape of a tree in its negative space. The green base and the blue top refer us to the horizon, ground and sky, representing a sustainable ecosystem. Finally the color nuances emphasize the translucent appearance of the glass.

GRANO ARTISAN BREADS / 2018 Grano works with the production of artisan breads without additives or preservatives, much healthier and tastier. The inspiration for the logo design was the wood typefaces, with a rough and organic trace reinforcing the rustic and handcrafted aspect of the products. A branch of wheat was used in the letter "O", referring to the name Grano, which means wheat in Italian.

Beastronix is an automotive parts company that creates high-performance racing electronics with the motorsport enthusiast in mind. The name was craated by combining ‘beast’ with ‘electronics’. The core component of all Beastronix’s products are custom PCBs (printed circuit boards). The logo icon was created by using only the 45 degrees angles & lines cf the tra.ces, which are the electrical connections between components on a circuit board. A custom typeface was created, set at a 45 degrae angle to mimic the lines of the icon and circuit board. (2017)

The Hummingbird House is a vacation rental located in Dunvegan, on the beautiful island of Cape Breton, in Nova Scotia, Canada. Our client needed a modern, sophisticated and smart design to appeal to clientele with discerning tastes and high expectations. The creative idea of the LOGO graphic comes from the growth ring of the wood, and like the life and growth in nature in Taoist thought, it comes and goes in the cycle of growth, a vitally growing pine is cleverly planted into the picture, which is strongly growing beside the cli edge. Drip is a solid honey extracted from nature used as natural sweetner and a healthier sugar substitute. The brand mission is ‘to deliver quality in its finest state, thus offering the best impression of its kind.’ The key words--Organic, Healthy, Natural, Classy-- were translated into four design key words: ‘Warm’, ‘Luxury’, ‘Pure’, ‘Refined’. The Client wanted a logo that intuitively shows the main ingredient (honey) as well as its source (nature). As for the word type, ‘drip’, the client wanted it in Ambigram. Overall, the logo had to capture the brand’s mood and tone, which are ‘Refined’ and ‘Luxury’.

Sudarushka is homemade fruit brandy by “Sudar Family Distillery” from Serbia with a name that represents a diminutive of the family name. Old-fashioned recipe and the way of preparing imposed the use of the traditional writing - the Cyrillic alphabet. The logo for this indulgence drink was designed in 2016. Logo visualizes spirit, the good mood and pleasure of consuming the product. The design of duplicated letters is a sort of Eye Test Chart but in this case “measuring” the level of clear-headedness.

Silver Award

Transparency is the basic concept of a specific SUDARUSHKA visual expression. The logo application, directly on the glass bottle without a paper label, in order to achieve a black and white minimalist effect, realized in pad printing technique. With this approach to design, the logo is readable from all viewing angles, same from the front as it is from the back. The impression of illusion is the real situation. Viewing same title from the front and back face enhances the impression of the traditional ornaments from this region.

Montag, 26.1.2015, 18.00 Uhr — Universität zu Köln, Aula II Michael Krüger, einer der prominentesten deutschen Autoren und Verleger, hat als Kurator der Poetica I namhafte Dichter aus aller Welt für eine Woche nach Köln eingeladen, die sich bei der Auftaktveranstaltung in der Aula der Universität mit Gedichten sowie biographischen und poetologischen Statements vorstellen werden. Der Abend wird eingeleitet durch Grußworte von Sabine Eilers (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung), Axel Freimuth (Rektor der Universität zu Köln) und Barbara Förster (Kulturamt der Stadt Köln) als Fördergebern der Poetica. Hinzu kommen kurze Impulsvorträge von Günter Blamberger (Internationales Kolleg Morphomata) und Heinrich Detering (Deutsche Akademie für Sprache und Dichtung) zu Macht und Ohnmacht sowie zum Faszinations- und Beunruhigungswert von Poesie heute. Im Anschluss an die Veranstaltung lädt das Internationale Kolleg Morphomata zu einem Empfang ein.

This is the logo of a textile shop located in the centre of Athens. I designed a symbol which combines the shape of a usual textile weave pattern together with the initial letter of the shop’s name. The symbol represents directly the nature of the company and the products sold by the company. It is original, very accurate and precise in terms of both design and meaning, suitable for one colour offset, hot foil, silk screen, flexographic printing or other applications on almost any material. It was designed in 2016.
