Star Struck 2018 By Rachael VAUGHAN
SCHOOLS across Port Stephens represented strongly in this years Starstruck performance. Celebrating it’s 26th anniversary this year, Star Struck 2018 saw over 120 schools represented, with over 3500 performers. The theme this year ‘Connect’ explored the fascinating and poignant connections our Public School students need throughout their upbringing to forge a positive future, as happy and confident adults. The professional production is presented and supported by the Hunter Office of the NSW Department of Education and Communities. Star Struck has become so much more than a yearly musical production, it has become a yearly tradition for schools, and an invaluable memory for students who have grown through their high school years participating in the show every year. Students with a ‘CAPA’ (creative and performing arts)
