By Mick BIRTLES RIO CARNIVAL comes to Bowraville in the most fabulous way on Saturday 5 February 2022 with a fundraiser for the iconic Bowraville Theatre. It is no secret the performing arts sector has been severely affected by the pandemic and the volunteer operated Bowraville Theatre still has bills to pay, however has been unable to open its doors to bring in revenue. Enter stage left Rocky Rewha Rewha from the Bowraville Art Council and his able team, mix with a million sequins, big hair, awesome music and barrels of laughs, put them on the verandah of the Bowra Hotel and you have a fundraising event that will be talked about for years to come.
