Safety Upgrades For Myall Way Intersection AFTER years of community campaigning, major safety upgrades are set to be delivered at the Myall Way/Pacific Highway intersection, and on Bombah Point Road towards the ferry wharf. Flashing lights will be installed at the intersection turning into Tea Gardens, with flexible wire rope barriers along the edges. Sight restrictions will be removed to allow drivers to see when to slow down and give way, as required. Federal Member for Lyne Dr David Gillespie said the roadworks were expected to be completed in coming months.

$600,000 FEDERAL FUNDING FOR MYALL WAY AND THE PACIFIC HIGHWAY The Federal Govt has committed $600,000 to make this busy intersection a lot safer, with improvements to get underway to remove sight restrictions so that drivers can slow down and give way where required. With Federal funding, Roads NSW is putting in flashing lights to alert drivers to the intersection and a flexible wire rope barrier to reduce the severity of any accidents if they occur. david.gillespie.mp@aph.gov.au
