By Tara CAMPBELL BILLIONAIRE property developer Phillip Dong Fang Lee and his wife Xiaobei Shi have had their assets frozen as the Australian Tax Office pursues them for more than $272 million.

The Chinese-born developer has caused a stir in both the Myall Coast and Port Stephens’ communities in the past due to repeated environmental damage to their properties.

The couple own a 400-hectare property at ‘Fame Cove’, as well as 5569 hectares of land across the area.

The Federal Court’s orders to freeze assets apply to sixteen properties linked to the couple including a $40

million mansion in Point Piper, a large number of luxury cars and the couple’s properties including ‘Fame Cove’, Tea Gardens Pine Plantations, Nerong farmland, Bundabah farmland and land in Pindimar.

For many years, the couple’s Fame Cove property, purchased for $8.8 million in 2006, has been a topic of conversation with many breaches of environmental protection laws dating back to 2009 where fines of almost $200,000 were incurred after a failed excavation of a dam wall.

Clearing of bushland, damage to the marine sanctuary and dumping of rock deposits also led to fines amounting to just under $100,000 from 20142019.

number of years, expressing anger at the NSW Government for not taking action and now calls for money to be set aside for remediation of the “pristine land near Tea Gardens that has been destroyed”.

“The immense harm inflicted by Mr Lee on environmentally and culturally sensitive land should have seen these assets frozen a long time ago.

“Instead, Mr Lee has left a trail of destruction in Port Stephens.

“Out of this process, money must be set aside to remediate the land he’s ruined,” Ms Washington said.

The Court Orders do not make clear of the nature of the ATO’s claim against the couple however it is understood that Mr Lee has filed a countersuit.

MMDs or in other cases, needing to do as no other suitable option was available, and risking legal action if an incident occurred when they did.

It also effectively cut residents of NSW who use MMDs off from a significant part of the overseas MMD market that offered major functional and technical improvements.

In highlighting the practical impact of the weight rules, Physical Disability Council of NSW CEO Ms Serena Ovens said, “We literally had situations where people had gone to the cost and effort of purchasing

MMDs, and were told ‘this is too heavy, it’s illegal to use this to get around and you can’t use it in our grounds’.

“At the same time, the weight restrictions were limiting our members’ ability to import newer, more advanced models of MMDs – it was an arbitrary rule with little to no practical justification and had serious impacts on our members’ independence and capacity to engage in community life.”

The amendments to the Road Rules, introduced on 1 September 2021, remove any references to weight restrictions for people using MMDs as pedestrians, including mobility scooters and power wheelchairs.

THE Nature Conservation Council says a new government scheme to protect highconservation-value areas outside national parks is welcome but leaves thousands of hectares of wildlife habitat unprotected.

The government last week called for nominations for Areas of Outstanding Biodiversity Value (AOBVs), which qualify for conservation work funding from the Biodiversity Conservation Trust.

Environment Minister Matt Kean said on Thursday these new legal instruments will fill a gap in conservation measures in NSW by preserving key landscapes that protect a broad range of our natural heritage.

“I want to leave our planet in a better state for future generations and this is another tool to ensure areas of irreplaceable biodiversity on private and public lands across NSW can be protected,” Mr Kean said.

“Local communities or private landholders can now conserve areas that would otherwise not be captured or recognised through any other legal instrument, such as in National Parks.”

However, AOBV nominations will only be considered with the landholders’ consent, which the Nature Conservation Council consider a significant shortcoming.

“It is great to have clarity on how this scheme will work, but it offers no protection for vital habitat remnants if a landowner has a slash-and-burn approach

“The AOBV scheme was a key component of the Coalition’s overhaul of conservation laws in NSW, but for some reason it has taken four years to deliver and is a little underwhelming.

“It was supposed to counterbalance the increased land clearing the Biodiversity Conservation Act was expected to trigger, but the scheme outlined today is too limited to ever do that.

“Latest land-clearing data shows 150 hectares of wildlife habitat is bulldozed or logged every day in NSW, almost twice the average annual rate recorded before the Coalition overhauled nature laws.

“The government’s own data shows 54,500 hectares of native forest were destroyed for farming, forestry and development in 2019.

“The truth is that even with this new scheme, wildlife and critical habitat is still woefully unprotected because the whole system relies on the goodwill of landholders.

“While most landholders do the right thing and protect critically important bushland, a small minority do not and that’s where the government should be focusing.

“The AOBV scheme is entirely voluntary, so it actually offers no more protection than landholders are currently prepared to provide, although it does reward them financially for doing so.”

“Stewardship of the land is a key pillar of the Morrison-Joyce Government’s commitment to supporting agriculture to reach its goal of $100 billion by 2030, and Landcare is a major component of this.

“Going forward, we want the program to be as effective as possible to ensure our farmers have the right skills and knowledge to drive sustainable agriculture production.”

Over the past 18 months, we have reported on the ongoing legal battle over whether strata schemes can pass by-laws that prevent owners and occupiers from having pets within strata schemes.

This issue has finally been determined with amendment to the Strata Schemes Management Act 2015 commencing on 24 August 2021, which provide a strata scheme cannot have a bylaw that unreasonably prohibits the keeping of an animal on a lot.

However, a scheme will be able to prohibit the keeping of an animal on a lot if the animal ‘unreasonably interferes with another occupant’s use and enjoyment of the occupant’s lot or the common property’.

The circumstances in which this will be deemed to occur include when: • the animal makes a noise that persistently occurs to the degree that the noise unreasonably interferes with the peace, comfort or convenience of another occupant; • the animal repeatedly runs at or chases another occupant, a visitor of another occupant or an

animal kept by another occupant; • the animal attacks or otherwise menaces another occupant, a visitor of another occupant or an animal kept by another occupant; • the animal repeatedly causes damage to the common property or another lot; • the animal endangers the health of another occupant through infection or infestation; • the animal causes a persistent offensive odour that penetrates another lot or the common property; • for a cat kept on a lot the owner of the animal fails to comply with an order that is in force under the Companion Animals Act 1998; • for a dog kept on a lot the owner of the animal fails to comply with an order that is in force, the animal is declared to be a menacing dog or a dangerous dog or the animal is a restricted dog under the Companion Animals Act 1998.

Cr Roberts discussed the recent announcement in the media by Premier Gladys Berejiklian that local pools could reopen, however, this was in regards to supervised pools.

“We are a unique Local Government Area in that we have several pools, but at this stage only three of them are supervised and other pools in our area only have a lifeguard on duty in the Summer months.

“Last year groups in Tea Gardens were still able to utilise the pool as they organised insurances and COVID-safety plans and now the Council has come up with a plan for this pool that we believe the public will be absolutely thrilled with.

“However, that is only the Tea Gardens pool. We have Krambach, Bulahdelah, Nabiac, Stroud, to name a few that are smaller and unsupervised pools that the public has an expectation to be open.”

Cr Roberts continued to discuss the necessity the Council workshop plans for these pools at the earliest convenience.

Councillor Karen Hutchinson also spoke to the motion stating that she has been in conversation with staff about opening up the other smaller pools in the region Councillor Kathryn Bell strongly supported Cr Roberts' comments, believing that “this should be in the community domain because we’re talking about community facilities, community pools”.

“I’m very concerned that one pool is singled out, or if that’s not necessarily the case, the community don’t know that because the report is confidential,” Cr Bell said.

General Manager Adrian Panuccio stated that the Councillors should move the recommendation and then if there is an operational matter for the other pools, that the Council should get information out to the public with respect to these.

Get ready for bushfire A BUSHFIRE survival plan for every Myall Coast household is the important goal as residents are urged to follow five simple steps to ‘Get Ready’ for bushfire season in 2021.

If you missed the recent NSW RFS ‘Get Ready’ weekend, you can still start your bushfire survival plan.

To make it easier, follow MidCoast Council’s five week, step by step ‘Get Ready ‘campaign. “Last year, in the wake of unprecedented bushfires which tore through about 24% of our entire region, we delivered a ‘Get Ready’ plan to every home in the MidCoast,” said Mayor David West.

“This year we have two important community goals – to ensure every home updates their plan or writes a new one, and to find out how many homes have a complete ‘Get Ready’ plan.”

“And then please take 30 seconds to visit the Get Ready webpage and complete the quick poll to let us know you have a plan and your household’s locality.”

Information including a short video and a summary document will see you assess your risk in as little as 10 minutes this week.

You’ll then be ready for Step 2 next week.

THE MidCoast LGA has one of the oldest populations in all of Australia.

With approximately 27,000 people or 29% of the MidCoast LGA population aged 65 years or older, MidCoast Council has developed a draft Ageing Strategy for the 2021-2025 period, which will be placed on public exhibition.

Renewable Energy - The Answer Is Blowing In The Wind

By Marian SAMPSON RENEWABLE energy and reducing emissions is now a higher priority for the Australian Government.

Australia’s commitment to reducing emissions has come under the international spotlight and we are seen as a nation that must do better.

The Federal Government has introduced legislation that will pave the way for construction of Australia's first offshore wind farms.

Port Stephens and Newcastle are well placed to host offshore wind farms.

Experts say a renewable energy industry built on large-scale offshore wind farms could unlock billions

of dollars in investment and create thousands of jobs in the region, offering a sustainable future for the community.

In the wake of this legislation, Weld Australia is calling on the Federal Government to mandate local content in the construction of critical national infrastructure projects such as these wind farms.

The Offshore Energy Infrastructure Bill could permit the construction of the 2.2-gigawatt Star of the South wind farm off the Gippsland coast in Victoria's south-east.

The Bill could also enable construction of windfarms in our region.

According to Geoff Crittenden, Chief Executive Officer, Weld Australia, “The only way to ensure that these massive wind turbines meet Australian Standards for reliability, quality and safety is to award the fabrication contracts to local Australian companies.

“Local fabricators comply with internationally recognised Australian Standards and are certified by the relevant Australian authority.

“The Star of the South and Marinus Link interconnector projects alone are worth $10 billion combined and are expected to create 10,000 jobs.”

If the turbines are built

in regional areas it would potentially see thousands of jobs created in areas like Tomago.

“The importance of our local manufacturing industry cannot be underestimated when it comes to Australia’s postCOVID recovery.

“Australia’s jobs-driven COVID-19 recovery must be manufacturing-led.”

Industry is calling on the government to make manufacturing a national priority.

“Government, at all levels, must support and invest in the manufacturing sector to aid its growth.

“Mandating local content in national infrastructure projects is the only way to ensure product quality and public safety, create new jobs, and strengthen Australia’s

economy,” said Crittenden.

Speaking at an online event last week hosted by Friends of the Earth and the Climate Council, exploring Australia's opportunity in offshore wind, Newcastle Lord Mayor Nuatali Nelmes said the region was perfectly positioned to embrace this new industry.

"Features that make us one of the largest coal regions also position us perfectly to become a major national and international clean energy player," Cr Nelmes said.

Offshore wind farms have been developed globally for almost 30 years as a viable source of renewable energy.

Due to the postponement of the Council elections, now in December, positions of Mayor and Deputy Mayor were to be elected for the ten week period until the election date.

Opposed by Councillor Peter Epov, David West retained his role with a 5-2 vote.

Deputy Mayor Claire Pontin ran unopposed and held her title.

Councillor Katheryn Smith abstained from voting for personal reasons.

National Novel Writing Month LOCAL novelists have started prepping for the 2021 National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).

Each year on November 1, hundreds of thousands of people around the world begin to write, determined to end the month with 50,000 words of a brandnew novel.

NaNoWriMo began in 1999 as a daunting but

straightforward challenge: to write 50,000 words of a novel during the thirty days of November.

It was a remedy to a well-known problem: writing a novel alone can be difficult, even for seasoned writers.

NaNoWriMo aimed to help writers track their progress, set milestones, connect with other writers

in a vast community, and participate in events that are designed to make sure they finish their novel.

And it’s all completely free.

journeyman in protecting the people of NSW, particularly our rural areas.

expansion of rural crime investigation capabilities and the formation of the Rural Crime Prevention Team within the NSW Police Force, which now operates across all of regional and remote NSW dedicated to preventing, disrupting and responding to rural crime.

Incentives overhaul a big win for regional teachers TEACHERS and students at schools across regional NSW will benefit from a complete overhaul of how the government attracts and retains teachers in the bush.

Deputy Premier John Barilaro said the NSW Government commissioned the Review of Rural and Remote Incentives in NSW Public Schools, which focused on improving the benefits for regional teachers by ensuring they are fair and flexible.

“We are already investing record amounts in school infrastructure and technology in regional parts of the State, so it’s time our incentives program

is upgraded to attract top quality teachers to the bush,” Mr Barilaro said.

“At the heart of these investments are our regional kids who deserve the best teachers and best education no matter where they live.”

Minister for Education and Early Childhood Learning Sarah Mitchell said she commissioned the review in response to conversations and feedback from teachers working in regional, rural and remote areas.

“The government is accepting all recommendations put forward by the review, and we will immediately begin implementing reforms to

attract and retain teachers in regional NSW,” Ms Mitchell said.

“We have the most generous incentive system in Australia, however over time it has grown in complexity.

“This is the first time we have inspected all aspects of the system to make it fair and flexible, allowing teachers to create a package that works best for them and their circumstances.

"We will create a smarter transfer point system and an easier-to-understand benefits package for teachers, ranging from additional salary, better professional development opportunities, rent assistance and family

support.”

The NSW Government has committed $15 million to action initiatives immediately in response to the Incentives Review, including: ● Increasing the value of targeted recruitment bonuses from $10,000 to up to $20,000, making schools located in the hardest-tostaff parts of the State more attractive for prospective employees; ● Giving more employees the opportunity to experience regional NSW by doubling the number of teach.Rural scholarships to 120 per year, and expanding the investment in the Rural Experience Program to fund up to 50 places from 2022; ● E x p a n d i n g eligibility so temporary

Tea Gardens Anglican Op Shop open again

One community service that has come back to life is the Tea Gardens Anglican Op Shop.

The volunteers have reported a stream of enquiries about their opening status and with COVID plans firmly

Roadmap to recovery NSW has a clear path to follow out of the pandemic and lockdowns, with the roadmap for easing restrictions at the 80 percent double dose target revealing a brighter future for the community.

From the Monday after NSW hits the 80 per cent (aged 16 and over) double dose vaccination target, eased restrictions will allow those who are fully vaccinated to have up to 10 people visit their home, participate in community sport, and access hospitality venues (where drinking while standing up will be allowed indoors).

All premises will operate

at 1 person per 4sqm indoors, and 1 person per 2sqm outdoors.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian said the 80 per cent roadmap will also remove the limit of fully vaccinated guests for weddings and funerals, and remove customer caps for personal services such as hairdressers.

“I know people are counting down the minutes until we reach 70 per cent double dose and the freedoms that will provide, and today we are providing further certainty by announcing the 80 per cent roadmap and future settings,” Ms Berejiklian said.

“Vaccination remains our ticket to freedom so we need to work even harder to get jabs in arms, to help stop the spread, minimise outbreaks and ensure people are protected when we open up.”

Given updated health advice, adjustments have been made to the 70 per cent roadmap.

Regional travel will now not be allowed until 80 per cent (fully vaccinated only), and a booking cap has been introduced for hospitality venues of 20 people per booking.

Deputy Premier John Barilaro said the NSW Government is considering changes to incoming

international arrival caps, so more people can return home for Christmas.

“The NSW Government’s 70 per cent roadmap lifts fully vaccinated people out of lockdown and when we reach 80 per cent, restrictions will ease even further,” Mr Barilaro said.

“The key continues to be vaccination rates, so please do not hesitate and book in for your free COVID-19 vaccine today so we can reach these targets as soon as possible.

“I must also clarify that travel between Greater Sydney and regional NSW will only be permitted when the state reaches 80 per cent

THE NSW Government is putting out the call for local tradies to install smart LED lights in NSW public schools, improving the quality of classrooms and cutting power bills.

The $157.8 million LED Lighting Upgrade Program was launched last year as a stimulus response to the COVID-19 pandemic and is targeted at replacing old inefficient lights in NSW public schools with smart LED lights.

Now in its third tranche, the program will see more than 800 schools upgraded across the state.

Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW, Industry and Trade John Barilaro said this is an exciting opportunity for local tradies right across NSW. “As a former chippy I appreciate the ongoing impacts of this virus on local businesses, and the NSW Government is committed to supporting jobs and

providing opportunities for tradies throughout the State,” Mr Barilaro Said.

“Under this program, All LED lights will be manufactured here in NSW and installed by NSW tradies and this commitment by the NSW Government has the added benefit of improving facilities at our schools, ensuring our students get the best possible start in life.”

NSW’s Biggest Game of Backyard Cricket provides the perfect opportunity for people to do something fun and engaging, explained Joanne Scanlon, Cricket NSW General Manager – Community Cricket Experiences.

“Cricket is Australia’s favourite summer sport

which everyone can enjoy, irrespective of age, background, ability or where they live in NSW,” Scanlon said.

“While many (across NSW) will still be in lockdown on October 9, the Biggest Game of Backyard Cricket is a light-hearted initiative to get everyone across NSW to prioritise their health and wellbeing, and do a fun activity together.

“Whether it’s for 10 minutes or an hour, Cricket NSW is encouraging everyone

to stage their own game of backyard cricket on Saturday October 9 and join their fellow News South Welshmen as we prepare for the start of the new cricket season and a great summer of local and international cricket.”

Tea Gardens Women’s Bowling Club News TUESDAY 21 September: Great to be back at bowls despite the weather conditions.

The temperature was 13 degrees Celsius, with a southerly wind blowing at 30km/h and gusting up to 40km/h at times plus light rain (or was it sleet?) falling at times.

Everyone was just happy to have some ‘normality’ back in our lives.

The format for social bowls was a game of Triples and a game of Fours with Jean Glover playing ‘swinger’ Lead.

Round 1 of the Club Championship Triples commenced.

Due to the horrendous weather the social bowlers opted just to bowl 10 ends.

Jean, Bette Saillard, Pam Gilchrist and Jeanette Emmett took an early and convincing lead against Jean, Sheril Johnson, Judi Polak and Dale Winter ultimately winning 10 v 4.

On the 5th end Sue Morris, Jan Coomer and Karen Green were 3 all, bowling against Sheila Rattray, Irene Roberts and Lyn Nightingale.

Then Karen’s team scored 5 shots on the next end and won the next 4 ends, claiming victory 14 v 3.

The winners on the day by drawing a card were Jean, Bette, Pam and Jeanette.

Results from the Triples Championship, Dawn May, Dawn Jones and Judy McGavock led all the way defeating Ingrid Luck, Dot Dallas and Robyn Webster 23 v 6.

A close contest for Lynda Richards, Karen McPhie and Robyn Beaumont v Bev Rhodes, Sandra Leisemann and Pat Baker.

Pat’s team started strongly by the 7th end they held a 6 shot lead, 7 v 1.

By the 13th end the score was 8 all, things remained tight till the 16th end when Robyn’s ladies added 3 points to their tally, putting them in front 13 v 8.

The last 2 ends were won by Pat’s team but just gaining one point on each of these meant they came in second in this match.

The winners from today proceed to Round 2.

The lucky raffle winner was Deyonne Page, many thanks to The Garden Eatery for donating the raffle prize.

Thursday 23 September: Round 2 Club Championship Triples and social bowls a game of Triples.

The social bowls were won by Ingrid Luck (swinger lead), Dorothy Thompson and Dot Dallas 17 v Ingrid, Helen O’Harae and Sandra Leisemann 6.

Now on to the Triples Competition Sheila Rattray, Irene Roberts and Kathie Rimmer v Bette Saillard, Karen Green and Dale Winter this was a ‘nail biting’ game from start to finish.

The score on the 5th end 5 all, by the 8th end Kathie’s crew had surged ahead and held a 6 shot lead, 11 v 5.

On the 12th end their lead was narrowed to just 3, 13 v 10, but by the 16th end they had increased the gap to 6 points yet again.

Dale’s team won the last 2 ends just losing by 3 shots, final score 17 v 14.

Jan Coomer, Sheril Johnson and Judi Polak put down some great bowls but had a loss bowling against Lynda Richards, Karen McPhie and Robyn Beaumont 31 v 6.

Sue Morris, Bev Dunn and Lyn Nightingale started strongly in their game against Pam Gilchrist, Jean Glover and Jeanette Emmett.

Unfortunately they didn’t maintain their momentum going down 17 v 11.

THE problem here is that we are attached to objects for a range of different reasons, and none of us can really judge the desirability another person puts on something in terms of its sentimental value.

What you may see as a clapped-out tennis-table table, is, in your son's eyes, the remnants of his childhood, specifically the day he beat that show-off Johnny Smythe.

It is the same reason I keep a pair of very short shorts with frangipanis on them in my wardrobe. I know I will never wear them again, but it's nice to hold on to the memory of the tanned legs and flat stomach that once accommodated those shorts so perfectly.

As they say, one person's trash is another person's treasure, and this becomes all too apparent when you do put your belongings on the grass strip awaiting collection.

Before long, passers-by will start rifling through your memories, and in some cases load them into the car boot, at which point you will feel a sudden surge of affection for that camping chair with a rip in the fabric and contemplate chasing after them.

There is also an equivalent of buyer's remorse, known as chucker's remorse.

The calculation goes something like this: Item value minus the number of years you have last used it multiplied by the number of hours it sits waiting for collection plus the number of people who stop to look at it equals the likelihood of you running back out to the front of your property and retrieving it before it gets carted away.

The longer you wait, the more likely you are to return your junk back to the mezzanine for another two years where it will gather more dust and rat poo, and the decision-making process will start again.

Maybe suggest to your son that he can have a designated area in the shed, and if his belongings don't fit into that space, they need to go.

Also, once he leaves home, DO NOT under any circumstances let him store those items and the associated memories at your place.

They are his to deal with at that point, and he can then decide how much they really mean to him.

Nine years after Letters and Numbers last graced our screens with new episodes, the format is back with a comedic twist. Its loyal audience, who demanded the show’s return, can let out the victory squeal: the new and improved edition has arrived. Wordsmith David Astle is back on board, as is maths marvel Lily Serna, with Michael Hing (The Other Guy) the new host.

Tonight, Suren Jayemanne, Jennifer Wong and Merrick Watts are joined by Bridie Connell.

Host Sophie Monk returns with her dry wit, megawatt smile and bombshell wardrobe for the third season of this reality dating bonanza, but the same can’t be said for the exotic island location promised in the show’s title – previous seasons have taken place in Mallorca and Fiji.

Nevertheless, we’ve all become adept at compromise and adapting during the pandemic, which has closed the door on international travel.

In tonight’s return, the singles head to a villa in northern NSW where they hope to find a match and resist the temptation of new potential partners to win the public’s affection, and the $50,000 prize.

COASTAL IRELAND WITH ADRIAN DUNBAR

With millions spending more time at home these days, it’s fair to say some are doing it more spectacularly than others. There’s nothing like a pandemic to inspire you to return home (and stay there); Irish actor Adrian Dunbar (Line of Duty) isn’t a particularly charismatic presenter, but the scenery in rugged Ireland delivers the goods. From the rowdy ocean to velvet green-dipped cliffs, the camera work in this series is top-notch, but we could probably do without the over-the-top theatrical soundtrack. Tonight, Dunbar visits Malin Head, the Giant’s Causeway, Mount Stewart gardens and the Mourne Mountains.

Before lockdown, the Club Triples Championship had reached the semi-final stage and organisers were anxious to complete the event before any further ‘disasters’ intervened.

Both the semi-finals and the final were played today.

Due to a medical episode one team had to withdraw leaving the team of Peter Gurney, Jeff Baker and Greg Brown going through to the final.

In the remaining

game the team of Graeme Reynolds, Dennis Longman and Stu Dorahy played Scott Fitzalan, Ross Barry and Danny Johnson.

The Stu Dorahy side held just a few too aces and ran out winners 26-14.

The final was played in the afternoon with the Stu Dorahy team playing the Greg Brown side for the title.

It was a great final with neither side gaining any ascendency.

Men’s Highest Score: John Edwards-133.

Darts are on every Thursday night.

Names in by 6.45pm, darts start 7pm sharp, everyone is welcome.

At the 11th end scores were locked at 11-11 and this was to be the case when the game reached the penultimate end with the scores tied again at 20-20.

The Greg Brown side managed to have three shots in the head on the last end and Stu Dorahy was left with just one shot to play to salvage the match.

His drive just missed and the Club Championship Triples crown went to the team of Pater Gurney, Jeff Baker and Greg Brown.

Congratulations to them and to all those that

competed.

Thanks also to the Umpires and to greenkeeper Peter Thornton on presenting a beautiful playing surface for the players.

26 September This morning 16 bowlers competed in a game of pairs with 2 games of triples.

They hoped to beat the rain and only one side completed 11 ends.

Winners with the biggest winning margin were Jean Glover and John Moore by a margin of 16

shots.

Bowls are still on next Sunday despite the club mixed pairs being played.

In other news: The draw for the Club Mixed Pairs competition has been posted with this event being played over the October long weekend.

The games committee will be meeting to determine the final matches of our season.

These include Sponsors Day, Dolphin Day etc.

Members will be notified when the dates are finalised.
