PORT Stephens MP Kate Washington has announced the successful recipients of $400,000 in new funding for the Myall Coast and Port Stephens communities. The new look community centre at Hawks Nest will be available for all local organisations, with work to get underway mid-year on the long-awaited facility. This community asset will be completed by November 2022. The project will include extending the existing hall to replace the current demountable building, incorporating a larger area for Meals on Wheels services. There will be a new accessible bathroom built, designated carparking and additional storage.
