CCTV footage confirmed Alan was last seen leaving his home on Pindimar Road at about 7:30am on the morning of his disappearance. An extensive search, employing specialist resources, found no trace of Allan. His sister, Patricia Day, told News Of The Area the hardest part was “just not knowing” what happened.
