SECURING AGRICULTURE

The Liberal and Nationals Government will provide $850.4 million over five years from 2020-21 for a package of measures to back-in the farm sector’s ambition of a $100 billion industry by 2030, support Australia’s soils and biodiversity stewardship, and maximise the benefits of Australia’s fisheries and forestry resources.

And we’re delivering a better deal for farmers and our regions with over $400 million for agricultural biosecurity including $96.9 million to protect the industry from pests that can devastate our local producers. For more information go to: davidgillespie.com.au/budget2021

Supported by volunteers from the Tea Gardens Hawks Nest Lions Club, the event was a huge success with over 120 people attending to see the fashion on the floor. The show was choreographed and hosted by Lions Director, Carole Richards, to the fantastic tunes of John and Julian from the band ‘Old Spice’.
