WHEN it comes to entertainment, Allan Wilson and Karren Nash scooped the pool last Friday evening when they presented two hilarious plays to a keen audience who gathered in the theatre at Palm Lake Resort. First up was โ€œThe Wedding Showerโ€, an adaptation by Karren Nash where the bride to be, relatives and friends were seated around a table that offered typical fare and refreshments for the celebration. The plot was instigated by the bride to beโ€™s best friend who thought she would spice up proceedings by purchasing a personal gift for the bride from the local adult shop

but to her shock became extremely embarrassed when she realized that the bride to beโ€™s grandmother had been invited to the party. During the course of the wedding shower party, the brideโ€™s best friend managed to swap her somewhat naughty present with that of the grandmother so when the grandmotherโ€™s present was being given to the bride to be, there were all sorts of double sided comments made in relation to what was contained in the present box. When News of the Area asked Karren what she enjoyed most about being in the play, she said, โ€œIt gives me great pleasure to bring laughter from the audience.โ€ Not to be outdone, Allan
