Urgent Care Clinic to ease pressure on hospital

By Andrea FERRARI AN Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) operated by Medicare will open in Coffs Harbour following an Expression of Interest process. CHC Medical will be reestablished as the Coffs Harbour Medicare UCC, and is expected to start seeing patients in November. The Medicare UCC will make it easier for people to get the urgent treatment they need, from highly qualified doctors and nurses, while taking pressure off Coffs Harbour's busy hospital.
