You gonna eat that? it was a packed house at Smithville Christian High School Saturday night for West Lincoln Community Care’s Boots, Buckles and Barrels of Fun fundraising dinner. Jack McIntyre and Maureen Rohner were

among those on hand and checked out one of the hors d’heuvres stations. Live music, silent and live auctions as well as a family style dinner were all part of the night. Williscraft - Photo

Popular Hat Trick Hockey is back, again Readers commented, we listened. “The most popular annual contest in Niagara West launched last week and entries poured in, but entrants were disappointed they would not be able

to follow and cheer for the exploits of hockey’s young guns - Connor McDavid, Jack Eichel and Austin Matthews - so we reset things for this week,” said NewsNow publisher Mike Williscraft.

“This whole thing is about fun - sibling rivalries, competitions in the office, friends creating a side pool - cheering on your favourite players and maybe winning a prize along the way. We should have in-

cluded these great young players from the start and we have fixed that now.” The entry process will be the exact same as all deadlines have just been bumped back one week. See WIN, Page 3
