Grimsby variety store open for business Bank machine taken in major police raid not connected to local store, warrant shows By Mike Williscraft NewsNow When multiple law enforcement agencies showed up at his door last month, Milk & Things manager Hector Reda was surprised. Police from Montreal and Niagara, who worked with border security and Hamilton departments, were at the Main Street location to confiscate a bank machine which was part of a larger network connected with a major shisha bust executed at 23 locations in Canada and the U.S.

The investigation of the network related to tax evasion. Shisha is not an illegal substance. Reda’s store, Milk & Things, had no connection to the criminal investigation and the “Warrant To Search” provided by the police shows, simply, the ATM was the only item to be removed. “The store had nothing to do with the investigation. We don’t sell that stuff (shisha) and never did. I just want to make that clear,” Reda confirmed. He noted that the See STORE, Page 2
