Miami University Hamilton

Miami University Hamilton University Commerce Park is across the street from Miami University Hamilton. This campus has over 4,000 students and has transitioned from a 2 year school to a 4 year degree University. Housing studies have shown demand for student housing in the area and the city is confident that the campus will continue to grow as the Miami Hamilton Regional campus moves away from being strictly a commuter campus.

Vora Technology Park Vora Technology Park was built with occupant comfort and data center fault tolerance in mind. It provides Class A office space, a secure state-of-the-art data center, and a professional incubator wing for the use of both established and growing high-technology companies, thereby providing partners and tenants the opportunity to exponentially grow their businesses. The facility was the former home of the Champion International/International Papers corporate headquarters which included their data center operations for all of their North American operations. In 2007, Cincinnati Bell Technology Solutions (CBTS) invested approximately $60 million in the development of a new data center at the site.

Form Based Zoning The City has implemented Form-Based Zoning in University Commerce Park as part of its efforts to ensure that the future development within UCP promotes economic development, creates jobs, and capitalizes on geographic proximity to Miami University Hamilton and Vora Technology Park. Form-based zoning focuses on the design of the buildings and allows for a wider range of mixed uses within the buildings. UCP-1 is zoned primarily as a residential area but allows commercial and encourages mixed uses. UCP-2 is focused on commercial, office, and industrial uses.
