FARMINGTON, N.Y. and MCMINNVILLE, Ore. — Pioneer Millworks, a Rochester-based manufacturer of sustainable and reclaimed wood flooring, paneling, and siding, has announced a new engineered flooring product.
FSC certified and made in the USA, The Sunset Collection is made with domestic oaks sourced from the iconic four rail fences that reign in America's pasturelands. With hints of its previous life illustrated through grain & fissures, this rescued wood bares the stories of corralled thoroughbreds, trail riders, and wanderlust travelers
Designed and manufactured for stability, performance, and ease of installation in a multitude of spaces, this reclaimed and engineered oak flooring is both reliable and durable, the company says The Sunset Collection performs in a diverse range of spaces,
ranging from well-trodden restaurants and retail shops to the intimacy of bespoke cabins and high-craft homes.
Jered Slusser, Pioneer Millworks sales manager, says, "We are excited to change the face of the reclaimed wood industry, with the Sunset Collection. Repurposed wood doesn't have to be rustic and rough; it can also have a clean and smooth appearance We have designed this collection to highlight our rescued oak's beautiful grains and inherent detailing, and to offer specialized finishes that today's consumers demand."
Manufactured in McMinnville, Oregon, and Farmington, New York, the Sunset Collection is finished with an all-natural, plantbased UV UV-cured hard-wax Oil in seven proprietary hues.
