Members enjoy the May Membership Mixer hosted by Zelma’s Emporium
Mixers: We have a great slate of mixers to round out 2022 starting with our July mixer at the New Oxford Antique Center on Wednesday, July 20 from 4 to 6 p.m. The Antique Center’s new owners are excited to introduce themselves to our members and the community, so be sure to swing by and say hello. Following the July mixer, our mixer series will take a one month hiatus in August but will come back in full swing for September with a special mixer hosted by Yazoo Mills. In celebration of their 120th anniversary, Yazoo will be providing facility tours at the mixer on Thursday, September 8. In the fourth quarter, we are looking forward to mixers hosted by new member Harvest Barn Country Market in October and Unique Upscale Resale in November. Interested in hosting our December mixer? Send us an email at info@newoxford.org. Breakfasts: Our next breakfast will be held on Tuesday, July 19 at 8:30 a.m. at The Bridges in Abbottstown. This is the second of our triannual breakfasts scheduled for 2022. Sponsored by Elite Therapy Solutions and
PA Chamber Insurance, the July breakfast will be a great opportunity to meet our newest members and connect with fellow business professionals. Our final breakfast of the year will be held in October with more details coming soon. Lunch & Learns: Join us on Wednesday, September 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for our next quarterly Lunch & Learn, sponsored by WellSpan Health. The program, “Remember, We All Rise When We Lift Others…Keys to Wellbeing and Building Resilience in Ourselves and Others,” will be presented by Director of WellSpan Employee Assistance Program Dr. Michael Diller. Dr. Diller is a licensed psychologist who will guide attendees through the key areas in supporting our fellow colleagues and coworkers along with fostering a culture of wellbeing. The New Oxford Chamber will round out the year with a final Lunch & Learn in the fourth quarter, information coming soon.
