Growing up amidst the energy of Slush, I watched an ecosystem evolve from a handful of dreamers to a global movement that redefined how we think about entrepreneurship The power of community, the thrill of ideas coming to life these were not just events; they were signals of a changing world But as someone whose heart beats for creativity and culture, I've often felt that while we’ve been racing ahead with technology, we've been leaving behind something deeply human Our ability to connect, to inspire, and to build a future that reflects our shared values has been overshadowed by profit margins and market trends
After years of immersing myself in the creative pulse of cities around the world, I returned home to Finland, a place filled with untapped potential Here, we have the talent, the resources, and the spirit, but we often fall short of embracing our own creative power It’s painful to see us trailing when I know firsthand what’s possible I’ve seen the spark in the eyes of creators who turn ideas into movements I’ve seen cities transformed by the bold integration of art, culture, and community And I believe we can do it here, too
