Our Alamar Community Life Team believes that the magic of community happens when neighbors gather and connect through shared experiences and interests. Community Programs

One of the qualities that differentiates Alamar is its residents! That is why we work hard to improve the quality of life for Alamar residents by fostering a leadership community and leaving a legacy that will live on in the hearts and minds of residents for years to come. Each neighborhood is represented by one or more neighborhood leaders who are committed to strengthening neighbor-to-neighbor ties by providing warm welcomes, organizing community events, and serving as community ambassadors. Community pride and making connections are the goals of each of our initiatives.

Every new Alamar resident is greeted by one of our early adopters or key ambassadors.

New neighbor receptions are held quarterly to welcome our newest residents.

Seasonal Events

We’re big on celebrations that honor the agrarian heritage of Alamar. These traditions bring our community together to create shared experiences and lasting memories. Picnics, cookouts, movies in the park, and more, our robust event calendar will give you something to look forward to each and every season of the year.

Cowboy Cookout

Come one, come all! Join our community for the annual spring cowboy cookout. All cowboys and cowgirls are invited, bring your boots and hats for a complete western experience with food, drinks, and a campfire.

Summer Spring

Summer Pool-Side Music

Nothing says summer better than sun, music, and poolside adventures. Alamar hosts a summer party you won’t want to miss. Come enjoy the Arizona sun with steel drums that will help you relax and unwind.

Fall

Movies on the Lawn

Leaves, lawns, & movie night. Fall movie night on the lawn is a sure way to get your family together at the start of the new season. Bring your blankets and chairs and enjoy the night under the stars while watching a movie on the big projector. Popcorn will be offered, all that is missing is you and your family.

Fall Festival

Pumpkin Spice Season is on! Friendly Neighborhood pumpkin decorating contest is a great way to start the season. Bring your best-decorated pumpkin to display for your neighbors to vote for the winner. Enjoy cider, donuts, and lots of laughs while choosing your favorite pumpkin.

Winter

Santa’s Jingle & Mingle

Ho! Ho! Ho! Santa is coming to town! Santa and Mrs. Claus are coming to town for the afternoon/evening so bring your lists to hand it to him in person.

All Year Long

Park Parties

Gather with neighbors in a pot-luck style for music, movies, and family fun. Bring your favorite meal and your neighbor will bring their favorite too.
