be found in the town, with the nearest large hospital being St. George’s, meaning healthcare is another important part of life you don’t have to worry about. Balham is located in Zone 3 and getting out and about is easy, with the town being well served by buses, trains and the underground. Balham is on the Northern Line and you can get to Waterloo in around 15 – 20 minutes. Overground trains operate to Victoria, Clapham Junction, Gatwick and Croydon and there is also a night bus service meaning that getting home is easy, 24 hours a day! Although Balham has seen a lot of changes over recent years, it still maintains its character and a number of older buildings in the town. From banks to beauty salons and Sainsbury’s to Starbucks, Balham has become a destination in its own right, but when you do need to head into the City or the West End, it couldn’t be easier by train or tube.
