Yeadon is small town located between Bradford and Leeds in West Yorkshire which was at the centre of the wool, cotton and cloth industry during the industrial revolution. Since the closure of the mills after the Second World War landmarks of the industrial revolution still remain in Yeadon such as attractive mill conversions.

The town centre has lots of shops, cafes, banks and the world’s oldest fish and chip shop established in 1870, it is located on Sandy Way known locally as the steep of The Cobbles. There is also a large Victorian Town Hall at the heart of the community.

The Town Hall is easily recognised by its attractive clock tower and is the hive of activity when it comes to events, concerts, fairs, tea parties and amateur dramatics. Yeadon Tarn is a popular place to relax at the lake and explore the woodlands whilst sport fans can participate or support Yeadon cricket club.
