Luxury

living

At All Saints we’ve redefined luxury. We’ve combined a spectacular

and unique building with stunning Sussex scenery, right next to the sea. However, Berkeley wanted you to have it all. So it’s no coincidence that All Saints is situated in the much sought after Meads Village with its exclusive selection of boutiques, cafés and

shops. Placing you and All Saints at the heart of the community. And within easy reach of Eastbourne’s Victorian splendour. All

Saints represents a beautiful and unique home, in which you can truly enjoy your life, in close proximity to everything you could need. Your new lifestyle by the sea will also be further enhanced by the luxury of your very own Concierge Service and a selection of

lifestyle services right on your doorstep. Welcome to luxury living.

Simply spectacular

We are certain that you’ll be in awe of the All Saints façade. It is simply overwhelming. That is why we refurbished the building lovingly. Keeping the original features, including high ceilings, original fireplaces and stone mullions. We wanted to retain a strong sense of the building’s original beauty. Ensuring that you are inspired daily and feel a part of something very special.

Living history

All Saints was designed by the gentleman architect Henry Woodyer. The building, with its exquisite Chapel, is the epitome of the Victorian revivalist period. An unrivalled sense of grandeur combined with Victorian elegance and an attention to detail. When you are outside All Saints, keep looking up. There always seems to be something new to discover within the building’s structure. And when inside, you’ll be amazed by the sense of space and history. Berkeley is delighted to have had the opportunity, in partnership with English Heritage, to restore All Saints to its former glory. And to provide the discerning with a truly unique home experience and a stunning backdrop to their lives.

A breath of fresh air

All Saints feels almost dominated by the dramatic South Downs National Park. The famous chalk coastline meanders off to the west of the town and the celebrated white cliffs – which have inspired generations of people for centuries – stand as a powerful reminder that you are on the South Coast of England. Whether you’re strolling across the rolling countryside, taking in the powerful views out across the ocean from the Seven Sisters Cliffs or following one of the beautiful nature trails through this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty you’ll never be far from breath-taking scenery.

Do it at your own pace

Life is good in this part of the South Coast. With the healthy sea air combining with the vast expanse of undulating hills, work is the last thing on anyone’s mind. Close your eyes and picture the scene. A balmy summer’s afternoon, the sound of leather on willow drifting across the breeze and the sun caressing your face as the waves crash down on the shore in the distance. This is officially the Sunshine Coast and visitors have traditionally come here to relax and unwind. Eastbourne is renowned for its gentle pace of life and its residents’ love of the finer things in life.

The best of old and new

Eastbourne is one of the quintessential English seaside towns. The Victorian home of promenading and architectural splendour. One can almost imagine in black and white, Victorian ladies strolling on the seafront in their white cotton finery, gently giggling beneath their parasols. But Eastbourne has evolved into a modern cosmopolitan town. The award winning Marina at Sovereign Harbour provides a relaxing haven in which to daydream while watching the boats bobbing gently on the water. And the majestic town itself is alive with possibility. The eclectic choice of shops, cafĂŠs and restaurants catering for all tastes. And a creative epicenter, typified by the new Cultural Centre that houses the Towner Art Gallery Collection, including works from both Pablo Picasso and Henry Moore.

Well appointed homes

The refurbishment of All Saints is a unique collection of one, two, three and four bedroom homes, each with its own ambience. The best of traditional and new. Whatever choice of home you make, whether it’s a triple aspect, one bedroom corner home, or a spectacular two bedroom home with its own Minstrel’s Gallery, in every home we’ve retained original features. High ceilings enhance light and a sense of space. While some homes have unique features, such as turrets that have been restored as showers or reading rooms. With stone mullions throughout, you can guarantee a taste of history and traditional architecture in all the homes. But we’ve also ensured that you have the very latest, top of the range kitchen and bathroom appliances. They complement each of the home environments, while providing the very best of modern efficiency and convenience. Our homes are something very special. The very best of old and new. And always very well appointed.

At your service

To make life even easier we thought you’d like a helping hand. Whether you need some dry cleaning arranged or you’ve been away and would like some basic groceries to be in your fridge upon your return. That’s why we’ve introduced an exclusive Concierge Service. Once you become a member of our community you’ll soon wonder how you ever survived without that little bit of extra help. What’s on in Eastbourne? Where should you eat? Or where can you find a good cleaning service? At All Saints we’re at your service, “getting our hands dirty” so that you can relax and enjoy your new home. Making everything easier and helping you to live your life to the full.

On your doorstep

All Saints is special. Unique. Not just because of the architecture, amazing homes and the surrounding natural beauty. It has its own sense of community. Located in Meads Village you’ll have immediate access to a wonderful selection of cafés, boutiques and shops. The best of village life. And right on your doorstep, within All Saints itself, there’s a Library where you’ll be able to relax, read the papers or challenge a neighbour to a game of chess. And the Chapel will be at the heart of the community, hosting seasonal events and functions. But it’s not just about being inside. We’d actively encourage you to get yourselves outside. That’s why we provide bicycles to help you to explore all that surrounds you. And to get in shape for your bicycle ride, there’s a well equipped, resident’s fitness centre.

It’s all in the detail

There’s so much to do. And so much to see. But at the heart of everything, will be your own unique home. High ceilings and in most cases open plan space that helps to maximise the scale of the rooms. And many homes have unique, original features that we’ve retained. One home has a shower in a turret. Another has a servant’s staircase. But we’ve balanced the strong sense of tradition with bathrooms and kitchen appliances that are quite simply top of the range. Berkeley are past masters at refurbishment and regeneration. But in all our years of building, we couldn’t be prouder.

Getting to All Saints couldn’t be simpler. It’s well served by both rail and road. Eastbourne train station is only an hour and a half from Victoria Station in London. And by road, All Saints is an hour from Gatwick, only an hour and 50 minutes from Central London and only 40 minutes from Brighton. So although you’ll feel a million miles away, on the coast, you’ll still be in “the thick of things.” By Rail Trains run regularly every half an hour from Victoria Station in London. By Road From the M25, you can either take the M23 at Junction 7 and head down towards Brighton, turning off for Eastbourne using the A27. Or go to Junction 6 and head down the A22, which takes you into the centre of Eastbourne.
