Academic Support Program

ASP Empowers Learners
Our transformative Academic Support Program (ASP) partners students with faculty tutors to leverage their learning profiles and strengths to achieve success in the classroom and beyond.
CONTINUAL COMMUNICATION
Regular dialogue and check-ins between our full-time ASP tutors, teaching faculty, athletic coaches, advisors, and house parents through the collaborative learning management system and in-person meetings.
THOUGHTFUL INTEGRATION
Sessions are fully integrated into the student’s academic schedule and do not overlap with other aspects of life on campus. This integration allows for an uninterrupted student experience at New Hampton School.
PROGRAM PROGRESSION
Students build upon skills each year to ultimately achieve learning success. With a goal of independent learning and self-advocacy, students will transition into college and professional settings with confidence.

Is the ASP the right path for me?
There are many different types of students who take advantage of the Academic Support Program. Some are students with diagnosed learning differences needing individualized support as they work towards learning independence. Others are students eager to learn and acquire new skills that will allow them to reach the most challenging levels of education. There is a path for everyone.
