“MyjourneyatRokebybeganinSeptember2016,whenIembarkedonatransformativeeducational journeyOvertheyears,Rokebyprovidedmewithasolidacademicfoundation,reflectedinmy achievementofover11GCSEs,rangingfromgrades7to9.Beyondacademics,Rokebyfosteredan environmentwherestudentscouldcultivatemeaningfulconnectionswiththeirteachers.Mr.Milki,my computerscienceteacher,playedapivotalroleinguidingmetowardsthetechnologyfield,ignitinga passionthatwouldshapemyfutureendeavours.Moreover,beyondacademicexcellence,Rokebyprovided anurturingandempoweringenvironmentthatencouragedpersonaldevelopmentandself-discovery Throughextracurricularactivities,leadershipopportunities,andcommunityengagementinitiatives,Iwas abletoutiliseessentiallifeskillssuchascommunication,teamwork,andresilienceTheseexperiencesnot onlyenrichedmyeducationaljourneybutalsocontributedsignificantlytomypersonalandprofessional growth

FollowingmygraduationfromRokeby,Iremainedincontactwithmyteachers,drawingontheiradviceand guidanceasInavigatedmynextstepsThisledmetopursuemyA-LevelsattheNewhamCollegiateSixth FormCentre(TheNCS)andsubsequentlyachievedAAA(3As)inEconomics,Geography,andPsychology InspiredbyMrMilki'smentorship,Iresearcheddegreeapprenticeships,recognisingthemasaunique pathwaytofurtheringmyeducationandcareer.Choosingtoembarkonagapyearallowedmetogain valuableworkexperience,expandmynetwork,andindulgeinenrichingtravelexperiences.Duringthis time,Iappliedtonumerouscompetitivedegreeapprenticeships,drivenbythebeliefRokebyinstilledinme thatanythingispossiblewithdeterminationThroughthisrigorousprocess,Ihavesuccessfullysecured four-degreeapprenticeshipswithleadingcompanies:Amazon(DataAnalyst),IBM(Applic Services),Accenture(ITConsultancy),andMazars(ITExternalAudit)Aftercarefulconsi confirmedmyofferforAmazon'sdegreeapprenticeprogramasaDataAnalystIameage forwardtostartingthisroleinSeptember.

Y11 GCSE Exams

As our Y11 students prepare for their GCSE exams to start, it is more important than ever for them to be in school and be on time.

For morning exams, they need to be in the playground at 8:30am For afternoon exams they need to be in the playground at 12:45pm

This is the final push - let’s continue to work together.

London Youth Games Futsal Final

Congratulations to Rokeby School Y9 & 10 Futsal team for representing Newham in the London Youth Games Futsal final. A brilliant team performance saw us finish 4th overall out of the 33 London Boroughs.
