

A workshop on cryptocurrency was held on Wednesday for students in Y10, providing them with an introduction to the basics of digital currencies and blockchain technology. This session was run by staff from the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority). They highlighted the potential risks, fraud, security threats and discussed ways to recognise signs of potential fraud, such as phishing scams and fake investment schemes
Students were engaged in discussions about the future of finance and the role cryptocurrencies may play in shaping it.
